I’ve now tried two products from the MANSCAPED line, and while I was excited to test this 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗗® 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮™ 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁, 𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 & 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗻, 𝟲 𝗳𝗹 𝗼𝘇 (𝘈𝘚𝘐𝘕: 𝘉0𝘍79𝘝5𝘏𝘉𝘋), I have mixed feelings. The green botanicals and light woods scent is the same as the other product I tried, basically feels like applying a whole national forest to your face. It's fresh, but might be a bit much if you’re not into that kind of scent. When I first used it, it went on with a lot of fanfare, but there were no real suds. It almost felt like it absorbed into my skin instantly. It washed clean without any issues, and the scent lingered for a while afterward, which some might like, but it felt a bit overpowering to me. As for the results, my skin didn’t feel noticeably different after use. It didn’t feel any smoother, softer, or brighter, despite the claims. So while it’s a fine face wash and did the job, I’m not convinced it’s doing anything miraculous. If you like the scent and are looking for a basic cleanser, it works. But I’m not sure it lives up to all the hype around the exfoliating and hydrating benefits, and it does seem expensive. Maybe I'm too much a basic person for this product line, although I do love the design of the bottles and such.

I'm big into skincare, which seems to have made my boyfriend skincare-curious, so I appreciate Manscape for bringing great skincare products to men. This is an effective face wash - I do question how much an AHA does in a face wash since it's not on the skin too long, but I suppose it's better than nothing. This face wash foams enough to be cleansing without feeling like it's stripping the skin, which I think is worth noting. It also has a very nice scent that leans masculine but isn't too overwhelming. It may feel pricier, but I think it really does provide the value it aims to provide.

OK - I already knew Manscaped has a great reputation for their products and I was prepared for a good item. Aaand they delivered. THe smell is fresh but not overwhelming pine and oak or whatever most scents that a lot of brands make for men. I use this stuff every shower and it feels SO refreshing to use after shaving. It's helped my breakouts a lot but doesn't make me all dry and flakey - which, again, after shaving is awesome. It's a bit higher in price, but I definitely didn't need a whole pump for my whole face. Just keep that in mind the first time you use it. It's a great product that works super well on my own face (I have oily skin), and I definitely recommend it.

I tried this Manscaped Face Wash, and while I typically think of this brand for grooming products below the neck, this facial cleanser really impressed me. The clear gel texture feels refreshing and the scent is interesting - that citrus and clean forest combination is actually quite pleasant and not overpowering. It worked excellently on my oily skin, leaving it feeling clean without that tight, stripped feeling you get from harsh cleansers. The AHA complex provides gentle exfoliation, and the ceramides seem to keep my skin hydrated. It's odd that specific ingredients aren't clearly listed, but the results speak for themselves.

The smell is overwhelming, and has no subtlety at all. As a facewash, being used so close to the nose, having such a heavily perfumed odor is a huge negative. It's not even a natural smell, it's a fake fern or grass, or generic woodsy plant smell that just burns the sinuses. It almost makes me sick. As a facewash, it's a mixed bag. It doesn't suds up much, but still distributes pretty nicely, and one pump is enough for a standard face rubdown, but you have to really rub it in to feel clean. The exfoliant is very gentle, and won't take much skin off, which is good for long term use. Overall, this product is really weak in performance, and WAY too aggressive on the smell. For $20, and the bottle is a small size at 6 oz, this has really poor value. I would not get this again at any price. Made in the USA. Ingredients sourced worldwide.
