  • Best Cabin Air Filter for 2009 VW MK5 Rabbit 2.5
This is my second time purchasing the cabin air filter for my 2009 VW Rabbit 2.5, and it's still the same high-quality product, made in Germany. It should also fit most VW MK5 models. I was surprised by how much debris had accumulated when I removed the old filter. Installation is straightforward and only takes about 10 minutes if you're familiar with the process. The package even includes printed instructions. Replacing the filter every other oil change (around every 10,000 miles) is a good practice to ensure clean, odor-free air inside the car. ... show more

  • Perfect for 2006-2012 VW Passat
Replace as recommended, and keep your car smelling fresh. It's cheap too, without sacrificing quality. There are several versions (and brands) which offer different features including plain mesh filter, activated charcoal mesh filter, and some even have rubber gaskets around the edge to get a nearly airtight seal. Good price as well, I mentioned that it will fit the cabin air filter slot in 2006-2012 VW Passat's. I know it also fits some models of Audi. You DON'T need to post a question like, "Will it fit my..................?" You can simply put n the year, make, model, and (sometimes) trim style and Amazon will help you find accessories for your specific model. ... show more

  • Great cabin filter
First, this summer I turned on my air conditioner and the smell inside my car was terrible. Almost like a Miley smell. My car is a 2019 and I’m almost sure the cabin air filter was never changed. So I do some research and found this one had the highest rating. When I took out the old filter it was disgusting. Installation was super easy and now my car smells so fresh. I will change the filter every year going forward. ... show more

  • Fits Volkswagen MK6 Golf / GTI
This Mann cabin filter is exactly the same as the OEM one found in all applicable later 2010+ model Volkswagen vehicles. The manufacturer is the same and the materials are the same. Please don't be confused by some reviews regarding stronger frames or foam materials. Previous years may have had slightly different materials. Installation takes only 10 minutes or less and requires no tools. Do not pay your dealer for this. Manufacturer recommended service interval is every 20,000 miles. For what it costs, I'd recommend yearly changes. Step 1: Unscrew the two plastic thumb screws located underneath your passenger side foot well area (directly below glove box). Step 2: With the screws removed, peel back the carpeting. It is only held in place by the surrounding plastic panels. For greater ease, remove the carpet panel completely. Do not worry it. Putting it back is easy. Step 3: You should be able to see a rectangular plastic box towards the back. The cover slides to the right to open. Push firmly to the right. Once it is fully pushed to the right, gently pull down on the cover to remove. Step 4: Pull down the old filter gently. Take note of the orientation of the old filter. There will be some leaves and debris, so make sure to cover your face and eyes. Clean the area. Step 5: Place the new filter in gently in the same direction as the old one you pulled out. The frame is paper, so it is bendable. As long as you don't manhandle it, it should be fine. Step 6: The filter bottom has slots where the cover latches go. Push it up and slide to the left to lock. Replace the carpet and the thumb screws. Step 7: Buy yourself a 6 pack and a tank of gas with the money you've saved. ... show more
