We really like this seat extender for our dogs. I can’t speak to other seat extenders I’ve tried, but other backseat covers for cars don’t compare. For long trips this is a must, especially with two dogs. It is easy to put in, fit well in our Toyota Highlander, was very durable for our first 4000 mile trip and vacuumed up well. I do wish the cover could be removed and put in the wash, but it does clean up well. I also like that it protects the doors on the car from scratches. I would recommend this to my family and friends.

This is a well made seat extender for a full sized truck with a crew cab and is easy to install in that instance. As the owner of a full sized truck with an extended cab I made it work for me after some modifications. Most of the extenders out there are made for cars and SUVs and aren’t wide enough for a full sized truck. The few that are made for trucks have the width but are too long front to back to fit an extended cab’s back seat. This item has that same problem, but because the support boards can be removed with a zipper they can be cut down to fit. I did that, cutting the two outside boards to fit to the front seats and the middle board a bit shorter to accommodate the center console. That gives you the support platform you need, but you have to fold under the excess cloth preventing you from using the rear anchors, plus you’ve got to fold under the side panels since the side zippers won’t line up either. It works for me, but a design that allowed adjustment or a purpose sized version for extended cabs would be better.

The hard floor hammock is so much better than a loose/standard hammock. The dog can't fall. It's been great. This particular hammock seems really well made. The storage bag isn't anything great, but it's functional. Having a vent in the middle of the front side is very helpful because thats the only rear vent in my car. So far we've had this in a Toyota Highlander and a Dodge Charger. It fits perfectly in the Highlander, and just a little snug in the Charger but it works. The problem with the Charger was that it doesn't have moveable rear headrests, so I had to clip the strap to the car seat latch system instead. Personally I would have left the pockets out. I hold a water bottle for the dog in there, but honestly there's not much else you can put in there because the dog will get into them. Last thing... I wasn't sure this would actually do a 2/3 cover based on the pictures, but it actually does. You just have to fold the side underneath the middle. This allows you to have the seat crevice bar in the middle as well as the straps on the rear. If you don't have the headrest in the middle, I've either used the car seat latch or looped around one bar of the side's headrest. The only real problem with this setup is there's no way to hold the front corner up (the part with the mesh). If you tried to get the strap like you can in the rear, you end up blocking the mesh portion. This is only a minor complaint though because the front stays up well enough to be useable and the bottom is rigid enough it doesn't move (it's now double and has the seat crevice bar).

Love this much more from the original one I purchased somewhere else and had to return. This one with the solid bottom adds extra support and more room for my larger dogs, two Malinois, to move around and not fall on top of each other. I do wish the mesh divider was higher as my dogs can just step over it. Not sure if that's possible but would help. I had to instal a cage wall with a cut out for their heads but it stop them from jumping in the front seat. It is easy to vacuum and I am very happy with the strength and sturdiness. So far it seems very well constructed

Very happy with this purchase. Easy to install and break down and it does a great job of allowing my dog to lay down or move around comfortably without my having to worry about her falling into the gap between the back seat and the front seat. Have only used this for 2 months so I can't really speak to durability, but it's held up perfectly well so far. I have a 2015 Toyota Highlander and the large fits perfectly.

I bought a large one of these covers and it rocked. It fit perfect and offered a sturdy surface for the dogs. I came back and ordered an extra large one intending to use it in our F350. The design must have changed for what ever reason. There is thin plastic boards inside of the new cover instead of the hard boards that are in our other cover. This seat cover is pretty much useless as a steat extender, it bends and flexes. Had I known that the quailty of this cover was now lacking. I would not have spent the money on it.
