I bought this kit because I needed new clippers and the price was so good. There is 4 clippers and just getting those would cost more then the set so if the rest of the tools were garbage or never used, the clippers were worth buying it. The clipper were sturdy and cut well. The nips were sharp and met perfectly with no play unlike a cheaper pairs I had in the past. Just a warning the 4 knife tools are extremely sharp and will cut you when removing and placing them back in if you're not careful. The only bad thing I could say about this is that there should covers for the knife tools. This is something when need I would definitely buy again. ... show more

i like the look of the case and the tools themselves work great! it can be a little tricky to get things out of the kit though, since they're packed pretty tightly and many are too flat/thin to get a good grip on- i usually end up using the tweezers to slide other tools out! good value for the price, regardless. ... show more

I'm just now getting into better hand care and saw this whole kit at such a bargain price. Was a little skeptical, but my word this is a wonderful, durable, quality kit. The confusion comes because I had no idea what half the tools were, and it unfortunately does not come with a booklet. Luckily all tools are listed on the product listing. By screen capturing, a beginner like myself now has a few images in a dedicated folder to remind myself what tool is for what use. Would be much better if a booklet/card could be included to at least name the tools in the kit. ... show more

I was a bit skeptical about this product due to the price and certain low reviews. However, I've been pleasantly surprised. Pros: -It's really hard to beat the price. -The case is nicer than I was expecting for less than $10. It's not going to win any awards, but it's sturdy and works well, and the faux leather paired with the all black tools are aesthetically pleasing. -All the major tools work well: the nail clippers, cuticle clippers, and the scissors. The nail files work fine, although they're not very sharp. These items are all I wanted out of the kit, so I'm happy that they work. Cons: -The extra tools are pretty cheaply made. This is definitely not a dealbreaker for me, because I didn't buy this kit for ear scoopers or needles and whatnot - in my opinion these items are just filler to make the kit more robust, and don't really matter. If you have your heart set on some of the tools outside of the nail clippers, files, scissors, and cuticle clipper, you're likely to be disappointed by their quality. But if you only care about the former, you'll be happy with your purchase. ... show more

This kit goes in my dip kit stuff. about a year later and everything still works great and has held up. My hubby uses it as well. We use it for everything. The only thing that sucks in this kit is the tweezers. But I’ve yet to buy a complete kit ever that had decent tweezers. You’re better off buying tweezers separately. Every day I'm finding I need to go into this set and use something. It's very handy, there's a lot of different tools. It has a tool for your every need. They're all black too so it has a masculine look to it. I love the case also. Good purchase.

    • I’m honestly between 3/4 stars.
The kit is beautiful and it comes with everything, but I feel like the main thing in these kits is the nail clippers. They do the job, and for the price it’s fair since it comes with everything, but they really aren’t very strong. If you have resilient nails, these won’t cut through them very well.

These are very well made, and the tools are SHARP. After several uses, I notice that the clippers have maintained an edge that is much better than any other clippers I have owned (I have some tough fingernails.) I was initially overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of instruments in this kit, but I have used about 90% of them, and get better results with this kit than any other I have ever owned. ... show more
