Let me start off by saying I didn't have very high expectations of this piece of furniture based on the price and some of the reviews I read prior to pulling the trigger and ordering it. After all, what can you really expect at this price point, and considering how cheaply ALL furniture is made these days, well, we learn to expect a certain lack of real quality and presentation. Boy was I happily wrong! When the box came, I was shocked at how heavy it was when I dragged it into the house through the front door! I thought, "Did they use cement blocks as packing material, or what??" I opened the box and the first thing I saw was this brilliant pop of yellow, and my heart skipped a beat in anticipation of things to come. I kept telling myself, "Don't get your hopes up too high, Kristofer, we haven't completely unpacked it yet." I kept looking for signs of damage - chipped edges, peeling veneer, etc., and was delighted that I didn't find a single blemish. Yet I kept cautioning myself, "Maybe assembly is going to be a nightmare, and since I'm putting this together alone (as I do so many things I purchase), maybe that's where the problem is going to lie." Again, delightfully disappointed! Despite this thing not having each of the actual boards labeled (at least not in anything I could discern as being English or even Human), the assembly instructions were clear enough that someone that has experience assembling things in this day and age can figure out what's what and what goes where based on the pictures alone. Having the extra hardware available was also comforting, but in the end, completely unnecessary. It took all of 45 minutes from unpacking to moving the completely-assembled piece into place, and not once did I accidentally install something incorrectly or have something not fit the way it's designed to. And, best of all, I didn't end up uttering a single curse word as I do when putting together so many other pieces of furniture! When I stepped back and looked at the completed piece, I shook my head in disbelief that this thing looks so incredible, so high-end, at the ridiculously-low price point I was able to purchase it. I absolutely, without-a-doubt, would purchase this again without a single moment's hesitation when and if the need ever arises. I truly do not have one single regret with this piece, and it gets LOADS of compliments from everyone that sees it, and nearly everyone assumes it had to have cost at least 5 times what it did. And I don't bother to correct them. This will be my little secret...

I debated a long time between giving this 4 vs 5 stars. I love the design of the TV stand and the color matches so well with the color scheme in the rest of my room but what an incredibly frustrating experience to get to the end result. So we'll start with the good: - Very nice, modern design. Actually like both color options (blue & yellow) but picked the yellow because it matched my mustard yellow armchair from Ikea - Has enough shelving and space for everything I need to hold: modem, router, google nest, ps4, ps2, a bunch of games and there were still leftover space. I like cabinet on the left side to store some things you want hidden from view. ie a bunch of extra wires/cords - Fairly sturdy. I bought this in 2018 but the pictures were just taken recently so it has held up over time. Though it has not been moved since being put together. Before I recently got a new TV that mounted to the wall, I had an old (read heavy) 55" TV perched on top of it for the better part of 2.5 years and it obviously held up the weight fine The bad - which is really only one glaring problem: Quality control is terrible! I actually bought this TV stand 3 times - returned the first 2 stands because they came with very obviously damaged parts (unfortunately didn't keep the pictures of the damage). The first one was purchased from another online store. The 2nd from Amazon. And I guess the 3rd was finally the charm. Given that this is furniture and very heavy and that you have to assemble every piece you see, inspecting every piece out of the box and then putting them all back in again to return is maddening. Speaking of assembly, I don't think this can be a solo job. I had help putting it together. Was not the worst thing we have ever assembled but not the easiest either.

Don't get me wrong, I generally hate mdf furniture because it is heavy, flimsy, and once assembled can never be moved without self destructing from its own weight. But I needed a specific size of TV stand, and I did not want to pay $500, so I took a chance on this one. I figured for the price, I could replace it in a couple of years with something nicer. I was really pleasantly surprised. First off, shipping was on time, and the box arrived in Long Beach Ca in almost unscathed condition. As I unpacked, I was amazed at the engineering that went into the cardboard container (reinforced at all corners and doubled over at sides with inner dense reinforcing lining. Then perfectly arranged pieces wrapped, padded, and secured in place were kept from shifting within the container. Everything got here in perfect shape. Then, I checked the instructions which were well drawn. Each piece is labelled on the back or edge. You basically have to try to screw up. Here's what really impressed me: every hole and piece were precision cut or drilled. No redrilling or pounding of dowels was necessary. This had to be made with state of the art equipment, and the handling of the parts was flawless, every surface was perfect, looked untouched by human hands. I was worried that the last step, snapping the heavy top to the assembled shelf structure, would be a nightmare because 7 tight-fitting dowels in 4 different locations plus 5 cam-lock tight fittings had to line up perfectly. Guess what? THEY DID. Snapping on the top took 5 seconds (not counting screwing on the cam fittings). Amazing... I have bought really expensive RTA furniture that forced me to drill or sand or plane to get the last screw to fit. These guys mean it when they say they are carefully crafted. Ok, carefully crafted mdf sounds ditzy, but this is so well engineered that I will probably keep the unit for years. I usually use glue on the dowels for rigidity, but I didn't, because it did not need it and if we move, I will disassemble (yes, it is worth doing) and take it with us, unlike other mdf stuff. The midcentury modern design is something I can find a use for in other homes in the future. It's that good looking. Absolutely 5 stars, I would buy other stuff from this mfg in a heartbeat. I checked their website, it says this is fabricated in South America, and they have a picture of part of their lamination process that looks like a brand new (robotic?) facility. Look to these guys to put IKEA to shame. (No, I don't work for them, it's just quality deserves some positive praise.)

Kind of difficult to build, but absolutely worth the effort. A few screw holes were missing so I had to use my electric drill and I still ended up with blisters on my hands from using my handheld screwdriver. I also sliced my leg open pretty good somehow? Not quite sure how, but it turned out so beautiful I don’t even care. It’s sturdy and great quality. I have a 65 gallon tank on it (about 70 pounds) and it is 100% stable. It has really good storage and the shelving is so so cute. I’ve had it for like a month and haven’t had a moment of buyer’s remorse, which is unusual for me. I also bought the bedside table to match.

As someone who doesn't have money to spare and isn't very patient with building things, I was very stressed about ordering this product. There are a lot of bad reviews about the product being damaged, instructions being unclear, and customer service being useless. However, I ended up getting a gift card for Christmas, and since it would cover the cost I decided to take the chance. I'm so glad I did! It actually arrived early (est. delivery Jan. 3rd - 8th, actual delivery Dec. 28th). The box had obviously been damaged in shipping so I was immediatly concerned, but the styrofoam inside the box protected the product from damage. There are some very minor flaws in the product, if you're really looking for problems. Nothing that anyone would notice unless I pointed it out to them. One of the legs was a little wonky, but was easily fixed. I'm not a fan of putting furniture together but it wasn't as bad as I feared. Yes, the instructions could be more clear, but if you take your time with it I really dont think it's difficult to figure out. My best advice e would be to make sure that you're putting your wooden dowels in the correct places because it switches up on you! It took me approximately 2 hours to get this together on my own. I'm a small to average sized girl and I was able to stand the unit up and get the top on without any issues. Overall, I'm really thrilled with the product. I love the look. It's pretty solid for what it is, and while the building part isn't my idea of a fun time, it's well worth the time for what you save in cost.

The 70 inch tv stand is quite wobbly. It really needs a middle leg if you're going to set anything on top of it, or store anything inside of it. It's pretty hard to put together as well. The instructions are neither clear or intuitive, unless you have put together large pieces like this before. You definitely need 2 people, mostly for lifting and lining up the top and flipping it over to nail on the back pieces. You'll definitely need a second person for moving it around because the bottom of the legs are not covered. Sliding the unit would probably not be smart. It needs to be lifted from the bottom and moved into position. The 70 inch long pieces are 1 inch thick and pretty heavy. Mine came with all the corners, every one of them, messed up. I called Amazon, and ended up making a deal on the phone to keep it anyway, at a reduced price. This decision was to keep it out of a landfill. After assembling this monster and seeing how weak it actually is, I wish I would have returned it. The cabinet is big enough to store vinyl records. That was the main reason I wanted this one. BUT it doesn't hold very many, and the weight of the albums on one end makes the whole thing lopsided and not level. Our TV is on the wall so it's not on top of the stand. This stand would be the perfect height for eye-level TV viewing, but it's too precarious to actually use. Just opening and closing the door or drawer makes the whole thing wiggle. I was hoping that this piece would be the answer to getting the TV off the wall so we could rearrange the room, but sadly it's pretty much junk.

I really like this item. Only thing is the way you attach the legs is awful. I had to drill out the holes, the long screw is difficult to screw in and is the weak part of this cabinet. One leg I could not get on so the leg had to be glued. The whole way the legs are attached is weak and poorly thought out. Otherwise the cabinet looks great and is doing its job.
