    • Baby Loves Her MAM Bottles (and therefore...so do I!)
The Good: I used a bunch of different free sample bottles with my baby before settling on a brand. When I first looked at Mam bottles, I thought the design was weird and I didn't think my baby would like the nipple...but I was so wrong! The nipple shape and design is one of the best things about these bottles, and most of the reason my baby loves them so much. She is now 3 months old, and she eats better with these bottles than any others we have tried (and I even bought a few different brands in full-size - these are the ONLY ones she likes). She seemed to get easily frustrated or 'choke' on nearly every other bottle/nipple brand we tried. In cause you're curious, we tried: Dr. Browns, Phillips Avent, Playtex (including the slanted bottles - hated them) and NUK bottles as well. MAM came out on top. She liked Phillips Avent OK, but she definitely prefers these MAM bottles and nipples over any other brand. She consistently eats several more ounces when we use these MAM bottles. She was even ready for Stage 2 nipples by about 2.5 months, which surprised me, but she does great with them. No choking or sputtering with these! I have also had pretty consistent issues with *major* spit-up (to the point where we were concerned about reflux), but I believe these bottles helped alleviate the problems she was having. The vents really do work as advertised. They are even easier to clean and sanitize than other bottle brands because the bottoms screw off! Finally, what really sealed the deal for me was that they bottles are NOT manufactured in China! They are made in Europe. I highly recommend them. The bad: I honestly don't have any real issues with these bottles or nipples. We love them. Sometimes water gets into the bottom of the bottle when we are washing it, and it *seems* like it is leaking when you shake it, but it isn't formula (just excess water that got in the bottom). They also don't have a lot of extra measurement lines on them (but I like simplicity so that's great for me), and they don't measure below 2 oz, but for a 9 oz bottle I wouldn't think that would matter much for most consumers. ... show more

    • The Best Bottle for Us!
The Mam bottles worked very well for us. My little one wasn't a fan of the Tommee Tippee bottles for whatever reason. We used the Mam nipples on the glass Born Free bottles, but those bottles were terribly leaky, and leaking breast milk is just depressing. Finally, I went with these and he did excellent on them. I started with several of the smaller sized bottles, and when he got bigger and needed more than 4 oz of milk at each sitting, we upgraded to these. I don't even think he really noticed the transition, which was a big plus to me. We used the Mam nipples, starting with stage 1, and then went to stage 2 when we switched to these, and later stage 3. They worked very well and he enjoyed being able to use the familiar nipple with better flow. He also transitioned very well to the Nuby soft spout sippy cups at 8 months. These bottles are great. The nipple worked well for my breastfed baby, the anti-colic valves helped reduce gas, and he was able to hold these himself. I highly recommend them. Each baby has different preferences, so these may or may not work for your baby, but the quality is very good and they are worth a try! ... show more

    • Great for breast to bottle
this bottle is great going from breast to bottle! Our little guy refused all the other bottles until we finally tried this one. It may also have been cause we were using the mam pacifier which has a similar texture and shape as the bottles so he took to this specific bottle better. But I love this product cause you can disassemble it for more thorough cleanup on the bottom of the bottle which is always hard to get, even with a good brush. It’s decently priced. The only thing is that it is a little bit bulky which isn’t a problem for us but if you like to travel and such, just be aware that the parts do take a little bit more space. Overall, great product for the price! Would definitely recommend them. They do offer a NB size bottle sample when you do a baby registry with target so that may be a great way to test it before investing into it! ... show more

    • Best bottle for my baby
We tried countless bottles and struggled with each of them. And by chance, I remembered when registering at BRU, I got a little 4 oz MAM anti colic bottle. We figured it was worth a shot, and we've never looked back. They have been great for us since he was a newborn. My son is now 6 months old, and we're starting to introduce the MAM transition sippy cup, which I also recommend. He also won't take any other pacifier other than MAM. I can only assume it's because it has the same shape as the bottle nipples. It can be annoying that there are a lot of pieces to clean, but they're big pieces so not hard to clean. Much easier than the Tommee Tippee and Dr Brown bottles we tried with the valves. We soak our bottles in soapy water before washing, then hand wash, and self sterilize about once per week. We tried: Avent Natural, Munchkin Latch, Tommee Tippee closer to nature anti colic, Dr Brown, Playtex Nature, and Minbie. ... show more

    • Perfect, except in bottle warmer
When my 2 month old began to refuse the Medela bottles (and scream during feedings), I realized she seemed to calm down once I gave her the MAM pacifier. So I tried these bottles hoping that if she liked her pacifier so much, she'd take to these bottle nipples. That did the trick! She no longer fusses during feedings and these aren't that much of a pain to clean compared to the Dr Browns and other bottles. These don't work well in bottle warmers, though, because of the thick bottom. It's hard to get them properly warmed and water seeps into the seam between the base and middle, which then drips as you feed. So I still have to warm in the Medela bottles and then pour into the MAM bottle, which is an annoying added step. Pro tip: ALWAYS double (or triple) check to make sure the rubber ring is in the base, otherwise you risk formula (or worse - precious breastmilk) pouring right through the holes in the base! ... show more

    • Best bottles we have used thus far!
We received several brands of bottles at our baby shower. We got these, Tommy Tippee, and Philips Avent. The Mam bottles are BY FAR our favorite. I really really like the style of nipple that these have. It fits our baby's mouth very well and she rarely spills milk down her chin. The design with the air vents on the bottom pulls the air away from the nipple and really prevents her from taking in a lot of air. We could really see the difference between the Mam bottles and everything else we used. I'm unsure if it's the formula, the bottle, or a combination of the two, but our 1 month old rarely spits up and she currently eats 4 oz every 3-4 hours...sometimes 5 oz. And sometimes that's with minimal burping. I attribute that to these bottles, because it keeps her from taking in a bunch of air, which in turn keeps her from being gassy and with a painful tummy. ... show more

Best money I've ever invested, bought two set of these the first one was a test. I can't believe how long is been and I finally found the perfect bottle. My son and I love these bottles and the design and the self sterilizer works great for us and is perfect. I've tried tummy teepee, muchkin latch was where I spend most of my money, dr brown, aventi, Gerber and other brands and now mam bottles, and let me tell you this is the bottle of your dreams. Now instead of putting them in the microwave as it says in the instructions I assemble the the way it says but I add boiling hot water instead. Of course I do wash the bottles very good take the part apart with baby dish soap, I use seventh generation dish soap is none toxic safe for your LO. Check out the photos, I'm also posting the photos of the bottles that gave me nightmares but I loved how wide the nipple was however had really bad experiences at 3am in the mornings!
