  • Project Farm recommended!
If you watch Project Farm's YouTube videos, he tested several saw blades from different manufacturers. Overall the Makata blades came out on top. My purchase was based on that video. And I can say that I haven't been disappointed. They saw extremely well and seem to last forever without getting dull. ... show more

  • People who complain about short life must be cutting into concrete or rocks on a regular basis.
I have four 7 1/4" circular saws. In one I keep a diamond blade for asphalt paving and concrete. The other three sport this blade. I have used lots of different manufacturer's blades, and this one is as good as any. One of my saws I use for demo and I regularly cut through a ton of nails per day. After using these blades for three years, they all still cut as good as new. I will give the other 7 to my kids. I will die before the ones I'm using go dull or lose carbide. People who complain about short life must be cutting into concrete or rocks on a regular basis. ... show more

  • Don’t last ….
The blade don’t last long. All I cut is wood and composite and one blade will only last one deck.

  • Best bulk price I could find

  • Affordable option for treated lumber work
It's 24 tooth blade so it works well for making cuts that would be acceptable for a deck or porch, or other framing/decking type construction. Handled cutting treated lumber, to include 6X6 posts and so on, without issue. (Obviously 6x6 requires some work due to the reach of the blade being limited) At the time of my purchase, these 10 blade packs offered considerable savings over buying individual blades or smaller blade quantities and you end up with a quality blade as Makita ensures it's products are capable of getting the job done with ease. ... show more

  • A good basic blade to use....
With a construction company, I go through a lot of blades that cuts a lot of different materials. So buying relatively inexpensive blades is the way to go for me. • With the Makita label, you are getting a quality blade (I won’t buy bargain basement blades with something that spins at 6,000 rpms). • Very reasonably priced yet will last a long time with average Joe homeowner. • It’s always nice for anyone to keep extras in stock. Certainly cheaper than running to your local Lowes or Home Depot. All in all, a good blade to utilize here and the price is right! Give them a try… ... show more

  • Great value for a nice inexpensive blade
I am renovating and have to tear out a lot of flooring. I didn’t want to use expensive blade because of hitting nails ruins one pretty quick. I have been impressed at how long these lasted and the quality of the cuts.
