These were purchased for acrylic painting. Nice variety of sizes and shapes makes them great for many painting applications. Good value for the money with surprisingly decent quality brushes. Give them a try if you use acrylics. The handle design makes these brushes easy to hold on to.

Good quality brushes at a reasonable price. They are incredibly soft and so far no hairs have come out of the ferrule. The powder brushes are not as dense as I like so I shorted it a star for that reason. Handles are cheaper light plastic so you won't get that expensive weighted feel but they do the job. Would recommend for someone on a budget.

So, on the advice of a fellow artist, I purchased these brushes to use for painting with acrylics. These brushes exceeded my expectations by far. The handles are so lovely I am almost hesitant to use them, thinking instead they belong on display in an elegant boudoir. Nonetheless, the bristles are exactly what I needed for some landscape detailing and therefore they will join the many dozens of paintbrushes in my studio. The bristles are soft and fluffy, and do not appear prone to shedding. Whether for art or makeup, I recommend these lovely brushes highly!

I’m not a makeup guru by any means but I’ve blown through a plethora of make up brushes over the years. My honest review about this set is that they look cute but perform mediocrely. They are soft and plush but for some make up applications that’s not really a good thing when you’re trying to be precise and deliberate about your product placement. I think it’ll be a great gift for someone who doesn’t do intense make up looks because attempting a chiseled contour or bomb smokey eye is kind of tough with these brushes. After one gentle cleaning session the ferrules started to squeak and seems to be self loosening off the handle.
