Like others, I think this brush works really well for powder and moderately well for liquid foundation. It's small enough to travel with in a makeup kit. The retractor works well and the cap is nice – no hairs get caught. So far, none of the strands have fallen out and it seems like it's pretty good quality. I did think it smelled a little weird when I opened the package, so I gave it a clean with water and makeup cleaner soap before using it (never a bad idea anyway!) I let it dry fully before putting the cap back on so that all the moisture evaporates. Once I did this, the smell was gone. The shape and quality held up with the cleaning!

This is a nice soft brush. The description doesn't really specify, but this is more of a stippling brush. I generally prefer "travel" brushes that have covers because I feel that they stay cleaner. I love it for my blush and bronzer!

I love the retractable feature! I did find this brush slightly larger than comparable travel brushes, but I love how compact it is. In my opinion, this did not work well with a liquid foundation, but was perfect for anything powder.

This is a nice brush for putting on my bronzer. I like the fluffy bristles and it applies my bronzer where I want it. The retractable nature of the brush makes this seem nice and hygienic and I like that part best because other brushes always seem to get glitter and sparkles on them from being in my makeup bag. The brush itself is sturdy and sweeps the bronzer exactly where I put it. Air the brush out first when you receive it as it smells a little weird with the first few uses. I hope as I use this more, the bristles don’t continue to smell like plastic. Other than the smell of the bristles, it was a nice find.
