i bought this to use to dust off my figurines as i needed something small that wouldnt catch on the fragile bits. its very fluffy and works very well. i assume it would also work well for makeup application. i havent noticed any hairs falling out.

Bought ELF to try and also to have an inexpensive backup brush. This one is flimsy -- the top part of the handle is not well-secured to the bottom part, and it wobbles. Otherwise fine as a powder brush for medium or light coverage. You could brush off excess product with it as well.
