I was very pleased with this product for the price. I just wanted something small that I could put my smartphone in and that would be protective. This has the sewn-in loop on the end to which you can attach a keyring that has the coil wrist loop so that you can then slip it onto your wrist and not have to carry it. The bag is not just thin fabric, it has some padding so that if you did drop it, your phone would have some protection. The bag is also water resistant (or waterproof, don't remember) to provide protection for your phone. It's just large enough that you can slip your phone into it, your keys, driver's license, and credit card, if desired. Then just slip it onto your wrist and go.
