This kit was a better buy than I thought. It has a lot of beads and also a variety of beads. You get 4 colors of small glass seed beads, 7 colors of round plastic beads, faux pearl beads, flower shaped heishi beads, 2 sizes of gold round beads, white beads with silver dots, and clear faceted beads. The clear faceted beads were the only beads that looked like cheap plastic beads with burs on them. All of the other beads were nice quality. There are also accent beads that are rainbow heart & star shaped, smiley faces, and clear plastic hears. Also included are 2 gold infinity connectors, clear stretchy cord and colored cord. The box has 4 cases that stack together. The case itself does not hold together securely and could come loose when traveling with it. My 2 daughters had fun making bracelets with this set. ... show more

    • Good beads/ bracelet set, box is a bit flimsy
My biggest complaint with this box set is that the boxes don't really stay together, I feel like they should all clip together/ seal somehow, and they don't. Everytime I pick this up I'm afraid the boxes are going to come apart and scatter tiny beads to the distant corners of my house. The beads themselves are cute, there's a pretty good selection, and they included string/ line and clasps too so its all-inclusive in terms of making bracelets. If there is one thing I hate, it's the endless quantity of art supplies that have accumulated in my house, but my kids love them. This bead set is nice and compact. The trays are perfect for storing the supplies and for sorting the beads for a project. My daughter has been making bracelets for all of her friends. There is a nice variety of bead styles.     • Great Variety of Beads and There are TONS of Them!
There is basically an infinite supply of beads in this kit. Lots and lots of different colors and shapes as well as some fairly unique styles for special creations. The beads are not great quality but are just right for young girls making bracelets for themselves and for friends. The included cords and clear vinyl string are cheap quality and there does not seem to be enough for all the beads. I was able to make it work but it took more effort to string them than I desired. I have some lightweight colored string that I will immediately replace the cords which will make much better bracelets. The carrying case is nice. It has individual compartments and each level has a lid that snaps into place to help keep the beads organized and in place. We have two 7 and 8 year old granddaughters that feel that friendship bracelets are VERY important at this stage in their life and this kit is perfect to allow them to make one for everyone in their vast social circle! ... show more

    • Cute carrying case and good variety
My daughter loves the variety and the carrying case. The only thing I will say is that the strap to the carrying case does not stay very secure, so the case can fall to the side which would cause all the beads to fall out. So just make sure to hold it carefully even when it's closed!

I expected the cheap plastic beads, after all, it is a kids set. You get a decent variety and colors are vibrant. But I am mostly disappointed in the containers - very poor design. I don’t recommend taking this on trips. It looks like it’s a nice portable design, but the trays don’t snap together and strap that holds them all together is cumbersome to use. Most kids will struggle with the button strap. Any wrong move might cause the trays to come undone with beads scattering all over. I got this set to take with us on various outings but I will not be doing that. This will be our craft set for home. ... show more
