I got this kit to do with my kiddo who is on the spectrum. Finding crafts that my kiddo will engage with can be challenging so I try and find simple crafting things for us to do. My kiddo likes stickers and this is ultimately sticker placement. Kit arrived in a plastic bag. Inside has two more plastic sleeves that hold the main outline of puppets, it’s three in each bag along with the needed stickers. Main puppet shapes are a black foam that’s thick. Popsicle sticks included are rather small in width, these could be larger. The only paper to reference is the cover sheet which shows the completed results. Takes a bit to get everything gathered and separating the stickers to the main puppet. Sticker pieces to add on the base piece are made with various textures. Sticker pieces feel more like a foam type of material. Peeling stickers off the main sheet is easy. Stickers adhere well including when layered. My kiddo enjoyed it if I pointed out which sticker piece to get and then pointed in the area on the main puppet for where that sticker should be placed. Overall, it’s a cute craft set that’s simple as far as actually doing. Organization could be better so you’re not sorting through stickers, the set up is what takes the longest. Price point is rather high considering what you receive but, if your child enjoys engagement with crafting or stickers it would more than likely be worth it. ... show more

I watch my nephew every other weekend and he loves arts and crafts projects. This was great for his age, six, as he was able to do most of it himself, and there was a lot of variety in the different characters. A little fun consuming getting all the pieces out though, and the price point is probably a little high for what you get. Nonetheless, it kept us busy on a snowy day. ... show more

    • Very fun and simple craft!
These craft pop sticks were a hit with my kids! There wasn't any direct instruction but it was pretty simple to follow the pictures to put these pop sticks together. The adhesion was fair, and it stuck to the felt material pretty easily. Although, it was not strong/sticky enough to resist being pulled on by baby hands, so it will definitely only last a little while through regular wear and play. Some of the felt stickers were very tiny, so be very careful when handling them around babies who like to put things in their mouth. I would also advise to supervise your kids while doing this craft just to be sure they can peel and properly dispose the paper backing of the stickers. These are super cute and super fun. My 3 and 5 year old absolutely loved them—as did I! The package doesn't separate the peices for each character, so you'll have to look at the image to see which part goes where. This may be a bummer for children who can't figure that out (neither of mine could), but I helped them through this, and it was easy for me. And the only compaint from my 5 year old was that the picture of the lion has little paw prints on his paws, but we didn't find any stickers to match them (and I looked through the black sheet thoroughly).     • Decent DIY PopStick Puppet Craft Set
I got the PopStick Puppets DIY Craft Kit for my kids, but it didn't meet my expectations. The pieces are just thrown in together, making it challenging to distribute one character at a time. While my kids enjoyed it with assistance, it's not ideal for independent play. If you're looking for a craft that doesn't need constant adult involvement, you might want to explore other options. I would recommend setting these up prior to having your little ones in front of you ready to go. Otherwise you'll have some antsy kids waiting on you to get all the pieces set up so THEY can make their craft puppet. For $12 I think it's a little pricey and would expect things to be sorted and ready already. This is the type of kit I could see coming from the $1.25 store but this one is a bulk set with multiple characters in each pack. There were no instructions so you'll have to keep looking back at the original picture so don't toss it out. Overall, while is was a wreck for me, my kids had fun with it. ... show more
