This is a very powerful dust collector! I bought it on the recommendation of a friend, and I am so glad I did. Before I bought it, I'd end up with dust everywhere - all over my table, my clothes, even on my hair. Now, the only place I might find it is just right on my hands/fingers, and that is all. And I haven't really turned it up very high; I've been using it just on the lowest, barely-turned-it-on setting. And, also as recommended by a friend, I put a paper towel right on top of it, so when I'm done I can just ball it up and throw it away with all the dust inside. The included filter will last me forever this way. The only drawback is that it is a bit loud, but frankly I don't think it would be as powerful as it is if they did anything about that, and it isn't louder than my efile so to me it's all the same. 100% would recommended!

I’ve tried countless nail dust collectors and I think this one was the best one out of all of them. It’s super easy to use and the suction is great, I never have a messy manicure desk with this dust collector! The design is cute as well and I usually get compliments from how cute and pink it is. It makes less noise compared to the other collectors and it doesn’t take too long to charge!

Just getting into nails (due to the pandemic). And with e-filing, quickly realized I'd be needing a suction device to help with all of the dust flying everywhere. This dust collector is amazing. Great suction. VERY easy to use. Gets about 85% of the dust flying everywhere. I use it all the time. The suction, though isn't the strongest. Occasionally, you can hear the fans slow down, and then pick back up speed. Noise is a thing. So I always use headphones if I'm going to be using it for a bit. ***ONLY CON*** I always find that there's dust on the table around the collector. It seems, like it's blowing air out from the bottom, where the fans are, and a lot of dust gets blown out from the sides. I try to use a damp towel around the collector, but it's a hassle. I find my shirt/lap are always covered with a thin layer of dust. Kind of defeats the purpose of the collector. It's great for the price. It does a great job, and I don''t file without it. But it's not 100% the best.

Stop right here. If you've been searching for a dust collector at a great value point then thank the nail gods for Makartt. The fans in the dust collectors have never been the real issue. It's the sh*t design. Bags....that don't seal....pffft. The design allows for gravity to work for you. The fan isn't blowing the dust into a bag and constantly keeping the dust whirling within that bag, much of which escapes everywhere. Not to mention the small "mouth" that the dust has to fall into. This unit has a nice sized area for the dust to fall and as the images depict, the filter slides in atop the suction fan and the only crevice is where the tray slides in. This opening is designed to be very minimal. I would say probably 95-97% of the dust falls directly down and stays right on the filter. The little bit that might sprinkle over the edge can get caught in the downdraft of the fan and fly all around. I fold a towel in half and center the dust collector over it to eliminate much of that from flying around. I don't know how well this would work in a salon environment. But for home use no one else has yet made one that works this well at this price point. I am a licensed nail technician and I have tried many that have ranged from $25 to almost $500. This is a great value.

What the? This dust collector is so weak. I am holding my hands right above it while i file them and it still can’t suck up the dust. I looked up on line how to use it as i thought i was doing something wrong - i just couldn’t believe the super poor performance is the extent of the power on this machine. I gave this a star, only b/c i had to in order to leave a review and save someone rose from waisting time and money. I caution you on buying this piece by off poop. To my surprise, i now see the reviews are on a different machine, based on the photos in the other record reviews. I’ve been swindled. A return for sure.

I'm so glad I bought this Nail Dust Vacuum! I started doing my nails at home with PolyGel and an e-file. This creates ALOT of nail dust, and I was worried about all that dust being inhaled (by me, my family, or my asthmatic cat.) I knew I needed one of these, but there were so many to choose from, and after scouring review after review, I decided on the Makartt, and I'm happy to report that it works even better than I imagined. *Convenient - It's wireless, so there are no cords, and you can do your nails anywhere (it comes with a cord to recharge it, of course). *Sound - It's less loud than others, and you can turn it up and down. *Suction - Great suction, and the suction power is fully adjustable. *Value - You don't need to buy replacement filters! Just remove the filter and gently hit it against the side of your garbage/trash to get the dust off, then vacuum the filter with your home vacuum to clean it. *Looks - it's sleek and modern, with a white and silver minimalist look If you use an e-file, you need a nail dust vacuum that works, and this one surpasses expectations.
