I have received Avant Silk by Maison Alhambra yesterday and it was packaged nicely. I am giving you my first impressions on it and it kind of threw me off a little when I did one spray. It smelled kind of like lighter fluid for your charcoal with a deep dark fruity notes......However I did one spray of it and I decided to spray 3 to five times in the air to clear out the atomizer because the fragrance does sit in the straw of the atomizer for sometime which will throw you off like it did me, so please be mindful to spray your new fragrance 5 times to clear it out. Now let me get back to the review of my fragrance, and I will say this......Avant Silk is 99.9% Inspired fragrance to the infamous Creed Queen of Silk. I have a decant of Creed Queen of Silk in between Avant Silk and Kiana Crush by Afnan. I smell the richness of Saffron and a deeper earthy note of Cypriol and Amber that I'm pulling off my skin. When I spray them on my arm, at the beginning I was able to tell them slightly apart from their opening, but at the dry down, I was unable to tell them apart, they are TWINS. Now, Afnan Kiana Crush is a lighter version of Queen of Silk with a lot of fresh fruits, I will say, it's 85% to 90% close to Creed Queen of Silk and the fragrance lasted 4 hours on my skin, but 6 to 7 hours on clothes and its best suited for a crisp spring/summer months. Creed Queen of Silk last 5 hours on skin and forever on clothes and its a beautiful dark earthy fruity fragrance that is best suited for fall/winter months. Now, I don't know the longevity of Avant Silk by Maison Alhambra, but I do see it has HIGH oil concentration on my skin just like Creed Queen of Silk has, so I will have to test it out tomorrow morning to give you all updates on the longevity of Avant Silk, as of now this is just my first impression. UPDATE: Tuesday, February 4, 2025, I wore Avant Silk to work last night during my night shift at the hotel, I did 11 sprays of it, 5 times on my skin after showering and moisturized myself with body oil and Vaseline, because the winter months are brutal on my skin. I made sure to spray my "pulse points" where I get the most heat at and 6 times on my clothes before heading to work. It is a very STRONG fragrance and I am a heavy sprayer with my fragrances so, if you feel you don't need much then you can do 1 to 3 sprays. I will say this it lasted 5 hours on my skin and forever on clothes and my hair, because I wear it down and spray the back of my neck which is my heated pulse points. I can say this, it lasted from 11pm-7am throughout my 8 hours shift without any touch up.

Ok so I read the bad reviews after I bought this n I just got it in this perfume reminds me of my grandmother. And it's wayyyyyyyyyy toooo strong over bearing made me sick. Smells gorgeous! I bought this fragrance as a "Blind Buy", never heard of the fragrance it was duping! I get so many compliments when I wear it and It def is long lasting. I love it and I'm getting a back-up bottle!

Definitivamente no era lo que esperaba. De principio me dio olor a gasolina y para mi gusto es mas un aroma para hombre, pero después de ponerlo en mi piel y dejarlo secar por un par de horas pude oler la vainilla. Definitivamente un olor extravagante y fuerte. Es algo amaderado y amargo para mi.

I may have to let this macerate for a month. There’s no sillage and it doesn’t last long on skin either. Not sure if I received a bad batch but it’s definitely not living up to the hype.
