Okay, I do not usually write reviews on clothing, especially on lingerie, PJ'S, leggings, etc. BUT, this product is FINALLY what I've been looking for, since gaining a lot of weight due to Hypothyroidism. I am 5'4 and had been 115-120 lbs my entire adult life. I gained a great deal of weight in a short period of time, which caused all sorts of other mental & physical issues. Trying to lose this kind of weight, well, let me just say, almost impossible. I am, finally, after 3 years, dropping the lbs, yet it leaves behind looser skin than ever before. (Yes, I could exercise but my life is too complicated for that right now) For years I've been researching and purchasing the expensive, the cheap, the #1 rated, the latest and greatest of these style body shapers, and let me just tell you ladies, this little Maidenform miracle is the only #1 in my book! I purchased this and one other style, for the first time, a week or so ago, and I wear it almost daily. There's no smooshing of your insides so much so that it hurts. There is no rolling up, not one bit for me, and the material is the softest most comfortable shaper that I've tried in 3 long years. It beats the "big name brand" by 10 miles! No more muffin top! I can wear it comfortably with or without a bra and I'm a D cup (by surgery 10 years ago). OH! Also, it keeps your back flat and doesn't allow for skin hanging over the arm areas, either. As far as sizing goes, I read many, many reviews and went with the recommendations of the others here on Amazon. I ordered a LARGE and I am now wearing an XL (down from a 1x and 2x). I can fit into some Large according to the style and brand, but the Large in this product is perfect for me! I hand wash mine, hang dry and air fluff only, and have not yet had any problems with cleaning it. I will definitely be getting more of these miracle shapers and I would also definitely refer my friends to purchase this item! Take my word for it, it really, really does what it advertises! I could not be happier especially when I get compliments about the weight I've lost and how good I look! Hope this review helps more women like me out there.

Loved this! Stays in place. Really comfortable once you get it on! Ordered a large and XL, but large was actually a medium with a large tag. Returned it, but kept the XL and it is great!

Many reviewers recommend ordering 1 size up, but I wouldn't. I found the straps to be a little too loose, and the bottom of the cami rode up at the larger size. I also wanted to share my more specific experience to help out other big-boobed folks: I really liked the shape and feel of this camisole, but ultimately it ended up not working out exceptionally well for me. I have a hard time finding shirts/tops that fit--small ribcage, disproportionately large breasts, soft squishy belly--and this ended up being one of those pieces that just didn't sit well on me when worn. There's a 2-ply control section under the bust, and then a lighter 1-ply section on the bust. Unfortunately for me, there just wasn't enough fabric (despite sizing up) in the bust area to accommodate my boobs. I'd start out with the whole cami pulled up slightly so that the straps were just a hint loose up top, and just with natural movement the midsection of the cami would ride down so the 2-ply would end up below the bustline (where it's supposed to sit), exposing the top of the cups of my bra and resulting in an unpleasant bra line visible under my shirt. So yeah, if I had smaller/more proportionate breasts I'd love this camisole! I'd still recommend it to other people who don't have huge boobs, too. I'm going to try a camisole without the various ply sections and see how that goes. Update 2/17/17: The 'latte lift' color is not as supportive as the black color! I have both and I can feel and see a major difference in the level of support and shaping between the two. Had I took a little more time when I was trying the latte lift one on, I probably would have returned it. I count that as another reason not to order up, too.

This is tough- after reading the comments, i still bought this in a XXL. I've have bought this SAME cami in XL and even L, but I've gained some weight and although the XL still fits, I thought the XXL might be more comfortable. It's not. This is so tight, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. It's sad, because that means Maidenform has most likely made a change in how they make these. I know they are supposed to be snug, but the XL have always fit, just a bit snug like shapewear should be. This XXL should not feel this much smaller than the XL.

I absolutely love this tank top. It is so buttery soft, high quality fabric, and super comfortable. It gives you the perfect balance of comfort but slims you at the same time. And the best part is, it’s not right around the bust area. I’ve already been asked if I’ve lost weight while wearing it. I’m about to order another one. I highly recommend!!!
