***Product update**- I first tried this garment 2 weeks post tt. I felt like it didnt control my swelling enough. Flash forward to 7 weeks post tt, where my swelling is minimal and I wear a garment mostly for skin sensitivity at this point- I tried it again and it works great, more flexible and comfortable than the garment the doctor gave me. It is not as tight as my doctor-garment, but it does hold my stomach in place and I'm able to wear it under more outfits than the doctor-garment because it is less noticeable.I still can't wear it under jeans because it squishes my butt (I probably needed a Medium to cover my butt, but the small fits my stomach & back just fine). But it stays up great and does what it's supposed to do. *Original review** I bought this girdle to wear after a tt. The garments the doctor gave me go all the way to my thighs and squish my butt, so I was looking for something less noticeable that I could wear under jeans, ect. I was 5'5, 145lbs before surgery and nornally wear an xs/small shirt. The Maidenform Flexees is good in that it does stay up- it does not roll down. I ordered a small and it fit fine. What I did not like is that it's not as tight around my lower stomach, it doesn't hold it in as well so it didn't control my swelling as needed. Also, the shorts part doesn't fit over my butt so it just pushes down and creates funky rolls in jeans. All in all, it's not a bad faja and I think if you're looking for something to wear regularly and not after surgery, that this will be fine. ... show more

TL;DR: I definitely recommend this shapewear!! I recently gained 15 pounds due to my birth control and have been trying to lose it (unfortunately stopping the birth control did not help). I have lost 9 pounds so far but I still wanted a little control under my clothing so that it did not seem that noticeable while I try to shed the last 6 pounds. I considered purchasing Spanx but decided to purchase these beforehand due to the affordable price. I am not disappointed! This product smooths everything down and the bottom legs do not ride up. I'm even considering purchasing one with longer legs for thigh control! My only annoyance is that the top part rolls down slightly by itself. It has a "rubber" part on it to stick to your skin in order to prevent this, but it doesn't always work. I can deal with this because of the control it provides, but be aware of that. I have a bigger booty and hips and I was worried that the bottoms would roll up when I sat down and such, but this was not an issue for me. I wear a Medium in everything (tops, bottoms, bras, underwear, etc.) so I decided to purchase the Medium, but the size chart instructed that I should purchase a small due to me being a size 6. As I waited for it to arrive, I was nervous that I should have ordered a Small but after it arrived I was very happy with my size purchase. When I took it out of the bag I was not sure it would even fit. It LOOKED like a small, but it doesn't fit like a small. This product fits perfectly. It's not too tight but it still smooths my tummy and buttocks. It's also very light and breathable. I would purchase whatever size you normally wear and do not go by the size chart (but this may just be my experience). I definitely recommend this for the price, quality, and fast shipping. (Although the first one I purchased was lost in the mail due to the carrier losing my package. Soft and nice firm support. Size fits true. But sadly it does roll and the top band is thicker than I care for. I have another pair from a few years ago and I don’t have that issue and the band is t as thick.

I've owned many styles of other name brand body shapers. I've got a X brand bra, an X brand cami, x brand panties.. and no matter what they say, they roll up and cause a very uncomfortable seam where shaper meets skin. You seem to always be tugging and stuffing. The X brand bra smashes your chest and now, after wearing these, I know I'll shop around and read reviews before I buy anything similar. This was rated high and for good reason. One. it has a grip at the top and there is no rolling down or slipping. It comes tight to the edge of your bra with no room for roll over belly fat.. it's up to your rib cage! Belly fat isn't on your rib cage. A well fitting bra and you look just so so slim and sleek. I am a size 8 and 5'9" and I wear it with every dress just for that REAL flat stomach it gives you. It also has a short leg so there is no long leg that might show under a dress and no binding such as that of a panty. GREAT for short skirts and dresses. Only problem is there is no "pee pee" hole for you, but the legs are so short, it's not a problem to pull them to the side. I have no problem with that. Once they are up and on... you don't want to have to keep doing that. They stay put! I am really happy I chose these, the leg length is great, the height to the bra is perfect and they hold in my pouch better than the X brand does. I love mine. ... show more

This is my first experience with shapewear, and I have to say it is much more effective than I expected for this price. Some users were saying to size up, I did not, and although I didn't expect to be able to even put it on when I first got it out of the package, it fit perfectly. The top band has some grip so it won't fall down during wear, and from my experience it is effective. The only real complaint I have is that the shorts tend to roll up on the front of the leg, and if it's under a dress, it can be very noticeable. There isn't a way to stop it from doing this, so I guess I'll just wear this with pants! Overall, it was much more comfortable than I had expected, and much more effective. I got one of these in a Small in nude for my graduation. I'm overall petite and not too big or "lumpy", but I do have some weight on me plus the natural "bumps" all women tend to have (love handles, under-tummy, etc) so I decided to get this. Probably the best buy of my life! The design is nearly PERFECT. It ends right under your breasts and on your ribs (which is perfect since that;s the area that's less likely to have fat - so you don't end up with fat bulging out!! It smooths everything out and tightens all up a bit - HOWEVER, this doesn't make you look "slimmer" or skinnier. It just smooths your body out. So if you're looking to look smaller, I'd recommend buying more than one to try to tuck as much as possible. The one thing I'm concerned about, as another user pointed out, is the way the "shorts" and top are joined. With the wrong dress or clothes, it could easily look like a G-string considering the shape they are sowed in. However that wasn't too much of a problem with the dresses I wore. If you're planning on wearing this with dresses, I'd avoid any thin fabric or anything translucent, as these lines could easily be seen. BUT BESIDES THAT, I highly recommend!! It's overall a great tummy tucker, specially for those on the smaller-but-not-fit side!! :) ... show more

These sit high enough that there is no gap between the garment and my bra, avoiding that unsightly bulge. The fabric is soft and comfortable, with enough compression to hold me in but stretchy enough to be comfortable. They are flattering, and I can avoid the legs rolling up on my thighs by making sure they are adjusted a little higher at the top of my leg. If you're looking for something to really snatch your waist, you may want to find something with a little more compression. ... show more
