  • Replacement is perfect! Updated review
Original review: I received a dilapidated box. The box edges were not even together but had been broken apart. Clearly it was opened before. The item itself was dirty, very used, mistreated and then returned. When I purchase an item I except it to be new. Not happy. Will be returning. Updated review: returned item for a replacement. Replacement came new. The product works well and has done exactly what I hoped for. Use it for working with polymer clay. It works great! Updating my stars from 1 to 5 ... show more

  • Easy and fun!!
Nice quality! Works great! I do wish the handle had a locking feature; it comes out easily (for storage).

  • Not Worth It
Do not waste your money, I had to eventually get a regular pasta making machine which is the same as a clay roller machine, to condition my clay. This machine barely lasted 6 months, then a part of the handle broke and would not to turn the rollers at all. It was very hard to turn the crank to get the clay to roll out, because it was constantly moving around and I had to hold it down like I was arm wrestling someone, to keep it still while I tried to roll my clay out and I was turning the crank with all my might, I heard a pop and it stopped working. ... show more

  • Is it the best one out there? No.
I purchased this for use with polymer clay. The plastic 'grip' on the handle broke off in pieces within the first couple of uses and I had to remove the rest of it in order to continue comfortably using it. I found that the rollers left flat spots on the clay and they were also pretty difficult to clean. I had to regularly re-secure the machine to the table because it would become loose after minimal usage. The overall operation was very clunky. These machines aren't inexpensive, but with this one sharing a similar price point with others I would spend the extra $10-$15 on brand name that will work as intended. ... show more

  • It's not perfect, but does the job.
I read the reviews that the handle kept falling off and, yes, that happened to me as well. However, it's a simple fix. I just added some paper towel pieces into the "hole" then put the handle in. Works like a charm. I also read about the first time rolling clay and how it left dirty/stain on the clay. So I wiped the rollers first with a paper towel then ran the paper towel a few times thru the roller on all levels until all signs of "dirt" disappeared. When I rolled my first piece of clay thru, it was spotless. I wish it had a way to keep the side that's not clamped down from moving, but I adjusted how tight I had it clamped to my table and that helped. When I rolled heavier/larger pieces of clay thru, I just held that side down which worked just fine. I didn't want to spend a zillion dollars on a clay press (aka, just a pasta press for which I already spent tons on the Kitchenaid one for my pasta) so after reading all the reviews, this one seemed to be the best for the value and ratings. I'm very happy with it. I would have rated it a 5 but for the few issues I mention above. ... show more

  • This is worth the buy
It is easy to set up and it does the job. You can adjust the thickness with the knob on the side. I would definately recommend

  • Not exactly amazing
I bought this brand because it was the one that had fewer complaints compared to others here. Its not great and honestly I wasn't expecting it to be great. A few points to consideration: - mechanically it works Putting it together was easy except for the mount piece that helps it attach on a table That was extremely hard to rotate. I had my husband help and it was hard for him too, so if you plan on attaching it to a table make sure you really like where it is. Also it's a little unbalanced without the mount piece so you need it even if will kill your wrists to do so. - the handle does come out a lot while using so keep it in mind. - the inside of the roller is slightly rusted or chapped. The product is ok and it will do the job. It won't last me a lifetime and it could be better but with all that being said I don't think the other brands are top notch either... ... show more
