The essential wallet is an extension of our Magpul DAKA collection. made to hold only the cards that are essential to your daily life in one convenient place, eliminating the bulk and clutter of unnecessary cards. this makes finding what you need simple and hassle free. What do you really need to carry with you in your wallet? We believe that it is three ID/access cards, three credit cards and three Bills. The single pocket logo side is used to hold up to four ID/access cards and the dual pocket in the back is used to hold up to three credit cards in the top pocket and up to four emergency Bills folded in the lower pocket. Have had this wallet for over two years. It holds up well and gets the job done. There is some fraying of the material on the sides that needs to be cut/burnt occasionally, but overall the wallet is just what I needed.

I love how slim this wallet is, I carry 3 credit cards, 3 ID cards, and a little bit of emergency cash. Fits great. The only thing I don’t like is that even though I’ve only had the wallet a few days, there’s a little area up front that’s gotten stretched and won’t go back down (likely from pulling cards in and out). This little stretched area sometimes catches when reaching for it it my pocket. It doesn’t look like much, but it’s annoying nonetheless. ... show more

I've had this wallet for almost two years. I carry two credit cards, ATM card, drivers license, fishing license, and 4 bills in emergency cash. It's incredibly thin and has held up well. At most some fuzz has come up on the sides which is easy to trim off with scissors. I've done this once or twice. This is so close to perfection, I want to love it. It delivers on its slim form factor and tacticool vibes, but; do manufactures NOT know what the size of a standard US bill is?!?! Our US dollar will not fit all the way in. (Ridge, Ekster all have the same problem). It has two “card” slots on one side that could easily have been three (ID, credit card, debit card or carry permit) in the same size. The side for the currency is JUST A SKOSH to small. 🗣️Magpul in a GenII version leave it the same width, make it an 1/8” taller, split it and put the currency slot in the top. Then you would have one big slot for ID on one side and two slots on the other for Debit & credit card or any necessary carry cards ... show more

This is the only wallet I have carried for the past 10 years. I finally had to replace it in the 10th year. Is that due to Magpul's design? No, i left the wallet in my pants pocket, washed them on HOT, and then dried them in a gas dryer. The glue finally failed at the seams after 10 years.
