This is such a necessary item for us. The truck bed and tailgate always leave gross stains on clothes if you have to climb up into the bed. And this much better functioning tool will take the place of the hoe, which has been living in the truck bed for a long while. This thing will be one of those items that impacts your day to day life. It extends all the way to the cab wall, with forked prongs. Has strong magnets, you place. It has locks to keep it long or short - whichever you are doing, at the moment. And includes a mount, with hardware to install. It is lightweight, presumably aluminum. And it is well-made and well functioning, easy to open/close/extend. It also has a carrying bag, if you don’t want to install in the bed. I ordered it as a Christmas present, for the guy who buys what he wants or needs. So you never know what to give him. But this will be welcome. And, therefore I can’t install it yet. But I included lots of photos.

This "help me reach" stick is a great idea! It meets a clear need, and will keep me from having to carry a broom or garden rake to be able to reach and unload items that have slid to the front of my pickup bed. I used it today to unload a full truck bed of long grass plants that I had pulled from my fence line a couple of days ago. I did not have to climb up into the pickup bed at all. The telescoping handle let me reach all the way to the front of the bed to pull the plants out. It is nice and light and very easy to use. My wife has used it as well to reach a purse in the back of our SUV, and she was happy to have it. I was a bit disappointed with the sloppy way the magnets were slapped on the main shaft with adhesive. One was very crooked like it was a rush assembly job. The magnets are a nice touch, but they really are not strong enough to hold the rod in a vertical position. Overall, I really like the product, though, and even without the magnets, I will keep it under the seat of my truck.

The pole seems to be good quality. This seems to be something that will save time when i want to pull something out of the back of the truck bed without crawling in there. My truck isnt magnetic, but it came with 2 tap screws that made it easy to instal the metal piece provided so it can stick to the side of the bed. The holes line up with the raised parts of my plastic bed liner. It only took a minute to install. The magnets seem strong and hold it in place well. I think it will be perfect for pulling firewood out of the bed when i go camping. The pole extends pretty long, so I'm sure i will find it handy for other things too.

So I have carried one in my truck for years but it took up room and it wasn't magnetic. This is metal and magnetic the pole is retractable and it comes in a carrying bag for easy storage.

Functionally this should work as a grabber tool for the bed of your truck. However, I am concerned about the quality and the magnetic setup. Upon opening, I saw that there was only two small magnets on the shaft. One had already come unglued and the other was half way off the shaft. Then, upon opening the extender locks and extending the pole, my hand was covered in metal shavings and dust. The hooks are stored next to the pole, which completely scratched the shaft. The value for the money is lost due to the product already showing signs of wear upon arrival.

I bought this truck cargo grabber tool recently and it has already saved me so much time and effort. I used to climb in and out of the truck bed to reach things and it always left me with dirty clothes or sore knees. Now I can grab what I need without having to crawl around. The magnetic mount keeps it right where I need it and it is easy to access whenever I want to use it. I like that it stays out of the way when I am loading and unloading, yet it is always handy. The tool feels sturdy in my hands and I can tell it is built to last. I have used it for everything from moving items in the back of my truck to pulling things out from under furniture at home. I even tried it to pick fruit from a tree and it worked surprisingly well. The hooks are designed in a way that makes them useful in different situations. I got this cargo grabber tool for my husband to use in his truck. I ordered it for the magnetic mounting but I'm not sure how long that will last in this extreme heat here in the deep south. One magnet was already loose on the pole when I unpackaged it. I replaced it and it stuck well but being that it's just attached with an adhesive I feel like it's going to just come unglued again. As far as the pole goes...it's very well made, sturdy, durable, and works very well allowing us to reach and pull objects to us from the front of the truck bed. The telescoping pole is easy to use and extends to the perfect length to reach the front of the truck bed. It comes with 2 different hooks...a double j-shaped hook and an l-shaped hook. I'm using the l-shaped hook. I think it works best for my needs. I would have given 5 stars if the magnets were screw mounted instead of adhesive mounted.
