This arrived nicely packaged and undamaged. The magnet on it is strong. The default neck angle on it is a little off and I had to bend it myself to make it a little better. I would not have been able to use this without doing so.

As an HVAC tech with 15+ years experience, I can honestly say this magnetic clip tool has revolutionized my workflow. The 6" jaw opens wide enough for most residential and light commercial ductwork, and the grip strength is impressive - holds securely without over-crimping the metal. The real winner is the magnetic feature. Being able to stick this tool to the side of a unit or duct while positioning materials is incredibly convenient, especially in tight crawl spaces where you're constantly dropping tools. No more hunting around for my crimpers in the dark! The operation is smooth and requires less hand strength than my old manual crimpers, which is great during long install days. Build quality feels solid - all metal construction with a nice finish that should hold up to jobsite abuse. The 4" magnetic clip is perfectly positioned and strong enough that the tool stays put even when bumped. Only minor complaint is it's slightly heavier than basic crimpers, but the magnetic convenience more than makes up for it. Definitely recommending this to my crew. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It's ok. It doesn't really fit my hand (4.5 in wide) and the end of it digs into my palm. There's also really sharp place at the end of it. The magnets are not very strong so you can't expect to load a cleat in it and jiggle it around much because it will fall out. The welds are small and I don't see them hooking up over time either. Especially if your pulling hard on it. It's a good idea that needs improved ... show more

The TDC clip quality is good. It doesn’t feel cheap. It is a little heavy but it does the job as it should. The magnetic force makes it easy to put the clips on and off. Good product for a great price.
