With this charging pad you can still hold the phone in your hand while it charges. The same ease of a plug in that respect,, but unlike the charging wire,, it can’t bend and break off in the port. Let’s face it it’s easier to just sit your phone down on it, than always looking for the end of the wire and plugging it in gently so it doesn’t break 3 months down the road. I have an iPhone 13 with a thin case and this works great - I even bought two. This is my first magnetic wireless charger and they are superior in every way. You can easily feel when the magnet “clicks” into place, and the unit lets out a small “ding” so you know it’s charging - there is NO light that goes on to let you know it’s charging. Since I mainly charge my phone overnight on my bedside table I’ve always been annoyed with chargers that feel the need to light up and constantly flash, calling attention to themselves at all times, carrying on like they’re the belle of the ball, and depriving me of sleep. The unit is sleek, compact, has a solid weight, and the magnet easily stays attached if you pick up your phone to check to something, thus alleviating the need to readjust and reconnect to the base if your checking the time in the middle of the night or checking a text while watching the TV, or whatever. My only complaint is that the chord that comes out of the base is permanently connected which means that it can’t be used independently to charge something else if you want to cut down on chords while you travel. But the USB C charger adapter that plugs into the wall outlet does come apart so at least that end can pull double duty. I supposedly got this on sale for $17.99, but it says the list price is $49.99 - I would not pay that much for it. But if you can get this charger for $20 or less it’s a solid little device. ... show more

I absolutely love this charger I felt a bit fancy when I first opened it, it’s amazing quality I thought it was an actual iPhone brand charger, thick cord, it’s perfect length too, it just snaps right onto the magnet on the back of my phone while I’m still using it. Easy when my phone is about to die - doesn’t happen often now- I always had to fumble around trying to get the c usb that tiny bit is hard to do when it’s dark, this has made me life so much easier and I never expected that from buying a random phone plug in. Plus It charges oh so fast , lighting fast compared to my apple charger and I also bought a very pretty phone case that is safe for use with the magnet, if you don’t spend the extra money on a case that has the extra circle of protection then don’t use this magnet because it will burn the @&)?! This was one of the cheaper items could have bought in regarding wireless charging. It is simple has one use, and succeeds in that one use. The only setup there was to just plug the wire into the adapter and the adapter into the wall. It is super easy to use. It charges my phone extremely fast almost as if it were plugged in through the lightning cable. the magnetic connection is strong whether it is plugged in or not. My phone can hang from the magnets on the charger itself. It is great for traveling and is extremely compact. I am glad to have bought and used this item. Money was well spent. ... show more

I thought this was a true WIRELESS magnetic charger that holds a charge to use on the go with perk its magnetic. I feel the description could be more spot on so no-one mistakes the products capabilities. I don’t use a power source for my other wireless chargers except to charge it up to take it with me if I need to charge my cell due to not having a power source. I can use the port to charge or sit my device on the charging pad. I read the description thinking it was wireless so I could use it on the go with the added perk of the magnetic alignment so it charges faster. I purchased this MagSafe magnetic wireless charger for my iPhone. It arrived in good condition and the packaging was fine with no issues. When I first started using it, I liked the strong magnetic connection. It sticks to the phone really well and doesn’t slide off, even when moving it around, which made it convenient to use. The charging length/cable size was also good, and I had no issues with how it physically fits into my setup. In terms of performance, it charged my phone as expected, but my main issue was the charging speed, which I found to be slower than I preferred for daily use even though I understand it is not an official Apple charger. There was no noticeable noise while using it, and it was compatible with my phone without any issues.
