Summary: Very good case for fit, durability, looks, MagSafe. I just received one with building defects which is the reason for my stars. It is possible to happen to you because it did for me, but I don't know how likely it would be. Also attracts some dust, MagSafe accessories have a chance to leave a mark on it, read below for info on both. For buyers: if my stars immediately affect your opinions on the case, please read the rest of the review, I've tried to make it easy to read. For seller: I really want to exchange it but I cannot, read at the bottom. NOTES: I've only had this case for an hour so take everything with a grain of salt. I will do my best to update if anything changes. Also, I was taking photos on my old iPhone 8 so the quality is bad including the colors (second pic color is correct), so sorry about that. I wanted to get my phone in the case in the pictures. Also if they edit the listing, my color was titled "Dark Green." good aspects: - seems durable - fits well - great MagSafe strength, the silicone makes sure it doesn't move easily (for MagSafe wallets, I can't say anything about car mount- I don't have the ability to test it) - it IS dark green- I was worried it wasn't dark enough because I only like darker colors. turned out perfect! only the second photo I attached makes it look as dark as it is in real life, even in sunlight. I was just using a bad camera. I'd say it's a little darker than the photo which turned out exactly how I wanted. - around-the-camera ridges is perfect, doesn't look ugly like most silicone cases. blends in very well. - volume buttons don't stick out much so it'll be much harder to accidentally press. also they are not easy to press, but not hard, I'd say medium. not-so-great aspects that would apply to yours: - attracts dust fairly easily thru static, BUT since it's brand new I think the static will go down as time goes by. more noticeable in this color because it attracts lighter dust which is easier to see on the dark green case. it's not at a point where it would bug me tho, it can very very easily be wiped off with anything including your hand. this is not a factor in my star rating. - I put my MagSafe wallet on for about 30 mins, and when I took it off it left a mark which I can't seem to get off, I've tried wiping it with water too. 5th pic (or second-to-last) shows the ring. doesn't bother me too much because I plan to always have my wallet on. it also may depend on the MagSafe accessory and how it's built, there's a chance these two just don't go together well. but it definitely can happen. This IS a factor in my star rating. not-so-great aspects about my specific item I received: REASONS FOR MY STAR RATING: it seems it was produced somewhat incorrectly. - power button: (third pic but doesn't show up super well) the way it was made makes it look like there were two pieces put together but not very well, not blended. it appears as a box around the button stretching to the corner. the inside of the box is mostly lower than the surrounding silicone making it very apparent. on one corner of it there's a bit of extra silicone sticking up and out, higher than the surroundings of the box. it looks very obvious, the camera can't quite catch that. also with how close the box is to the button, one side of the button will definitely catch tons of dirt and dust and be hard to clean. I also noticed while writing this review that it is similar on the bottom of the case surrounding the speaker/mic but is not as bad. this is my MAIN reason of the star rating. - on the bottom of the front (fourth pic or third-to-last) there is a bit of extra silicone that sticks out a little bit and disrupts the fit a little bit. I totally could cut it off but I'm afraid of ruining the case. why I can't exchange it: My living situation right now is very hard to return items so really try not to if I don't absolutely have to. Ideally, and if it were a bit easier, I would exchange this case and get the exact same one that's hopefully in better condition. I've tried to contact GoblinBox but it just gives me an AI chatbot that's definitely by amazon. when I go to amazon, they say there is nothing they can help me with, I've exhausted all my solutions. I really want a different one but I currently cannot physically return (exchange) this even though I want to. Also I've tried everything I can to get in touch with GoblinBox but can't do anything but write a letter in the mail (theoretically). My two options were to return (exchange) or keep this one, but I cannot return it as I've said. I'm just annoyed because I've spent over a year finding a case that is perfect for me and I finally found it, I really want it but it wasn't made properly. ... show more
