These act like a fairly strong deterrent, but I do wonder if they'll stand up to rigorous jostling from a determined child. Still, it's fairly straight forward like most magnetic locks. I recently had to move away from drilling as I no longer own my residence, so these were a viable solution.

I ordered these child locks for my cabinet because I have tried multiple options and haven't found ones that my child cannot pry open. Thankfully, I've seen these locks before and previously have not ordered them due to having cheaper options available. I will never make this mistake again, when it comes to child proofing you want quality products that your child cannot outsmart. These cabinet locks are easy to install, and I was able to install them within a few minutes due to the guide that is included. The locks are very strong, and I haven't had any problems with the adhesive wearing off or lifting. My cabinets are older and these cabinet locks were compatible which is great. The locks work by using a magnetic mechanism that you cannot open without the included magnet key. The key does include an adhesive home base that you can install in a hidden area away from your kids. I love how simple yet effective these locks are. I would highly recommend them and will reorder them in the future.

TL;DR: A well-organized kit with a helpful guide tool. Once you figure out the first lock, the rest are a breeze to install. They hold up great against a curious baby, and I love the little indicator stickers for the magnetic keys! Why I ordered these: I decided to get this set because my 8-month-old daughter is now crawling and starting to walk, and her favorite new game is trying to open our cabinets. I usually just try to redirect her, but I needed a reliable solution before she gets into something dangerous. I don't really care about the locks being "invisible" from the outside; my main priority is just keeping her safe, and these absolutely do the trick! Right off the bat, I liked that the box is nice and organized—it made the whole setup feel a lot less overwhelming. Installation & Versatility: The installation guide tool that comes with the kit is super helpful. It took me one try to figure out how to use it, but once I got the hang of it, it went smoothly. A quick tip for anyone installing these: I found it was best to go in from the adjoining door, secure the top latch first, and then take the sticker backing off the hook itself and attach it to the door. After installing the first one and figuring out how it best works, the rest were so easy. I also really appreciate the versatility of the no-drill 3M adhesive, meaning I didn't have to damage my cabinets to get these set up. Daily Use & Durability: One of my favorite features is that there are little stickers we can put on the outside of the cabinet doors to know exactly where the lock is. It makes swiping the magnet to unlock them completely effortless. As for durability, the adhesive holds firm even when my daughter tries to pull the cabinet doors open. Summary: Overall, the quality of these locks is exactly what I was hoping for, and getting a 20-pack with 4 keys is an amazing value to baby-proof a large area. They completely met my expectations. I picked up this set to help baby-proof our house, and overall I've been very happy with it. One of my favorite features is that the locks are completely hidden inside the cabinets and drawers, so they don't take away from the look of our home. Everything stays clean and uncluttered, which I really appreciate. The magnetic key system works well and makes it easy for adults to access cabinets while keeping little ones out. My only recommendation is to be careful not to lose the magnetic keys. Luckily, this set includes several extras, which is a huge plus because constantly searching for the key would be frustrating when you're moving freely through the house. Installation was straightforward since everything needed is included in the package, and the adhesive mounting means no drilling into cabinets. The locks feel secure, and I like having enough pieces in the pack to childproof multiple rooms without needing to buy additional sets. I installed these locks on several cabinets around the house, and once they're in place, they work really well. What I like most is that they're hidden inside the cabinets, so they don't affect the look of the furniture. The magnetic lock is strong and keeps doors securely closed even when curious kids try to open them. Installation takes some time if you're putting them on multiple cabinets, but after that they require very little maintenance. Overall, I found them to be an effective way to make the home safer for children.

Our daughter just turned a year old and starting to learn how to walk around the house and naturally becoming very curious of cabinets and anything else that has a door on it. Of course there are items that we do not want her to have access to, but we also don't want things with strong adhesives or screws marking up the outside of our beautiful cabinets. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these magnetic locks and especially appreciated the included adapter that you use during installation. It took me about 5 minutes to install the first unit but after that only about 30 seconds per unit once I really got good. The template makes installation very easy and the adhesive on these is strong enough to hold a toddler out of a cabinet, but not so strong that you can't gently remove it yourself without damaging the paint if needed. I thought that this kit only came with two magnetic keys but it actually came with four and it includes little bases for them that you can place in a common area if you want, though we ended up just attaching all of our keys high up on our refrigerator. Overall, these locks are made out of pretty high quality materials and we're very easy to include and you get so many of them in this kit that I have to say it is an excellent value overall as an easy way of improving the safety of places like kitchen cabinets.

The idea of the product is wonderful, but product itself is not. It was easy to install and the magnets are stronger then I anticipated. However, the plastic pieces are thin and cheap. If you have a child that is strong in the slughtest or even determined these will be worthless. My child pulled on a cabinet door and the plastic clips just snapped off. Once he realized he just had to pulled hard enough he made a point to go along at access the rest of the cupboards. In two days half of the ones I installed broke.
