Sounds great, mild but moderate when you gas it. I hate that they dont provide a new coupler to install the new system to the old piping on the car. Install was easy however do yourself a favor and buy a new VW Coupler; unless you install this on a car with no rust/ low mileage. You will not be able to reuse the OEM coupler and the bolts on the OEM coupler usually becomes Non-exsistent. Authentic OEM coupler from VW is only 26 dollars - save yourself some work ... show more

Installer said he had to weld the pipe in, since the bracket that came with it did not tighten well enough. Love the sound, and I can even feel a little more power after the install. Thumbs up from me!

The sound is great however after having this one for a year and a half the exhaust hanger has torn off the muffler leaving a huge hole in the muffler and giving it a sputtering sound. Maybe a quality check issue but this should not have happened. ****Update**** After contacting magnaflow they replaced the system this one has had no defects. ... show more

Sounds nice, not too loud and not too soft. Sounds great coupled with my AEM intake on my 2017 Passat R-Line Reuses existing VW coupler which can cause issues.
