Best safety glasses I have ever used. Yes they will get scratched, and beat up, that’s un avoidable. But the longevity of these safety glasses is what you are paying for. I’ve used all kinds of safety glasses over my years as a career carpenter (12years) these are the best I’ve used. They take a beating, I’ve dropped them from roofs, scaffold, you named it. They hold up, and those were cases of user error. But when I leave them on my head they stay on my head, and won’t fall. The frames are legit, and very flexible. I’m a life time customer, if they keep making them like this, and don’t change a thing. They are made in America, how do I know? Cause they happen to be local in my city. Might not resist scratching well, but it took me and my Makita drill some unexpected effort to DRILL through the lens! I didn't buy these for their "safety glasses" purpose, but a sturdy platform to mount a magnifying lens too. I will definitely buy them again if I need safety glasses!

    • These are safety glasses you want

I work in an auto garage and wanted a pair of glasses that could take a drop, impact to the eyes, while also looking stylish(corny I know) compared to a basic pair of safety glasses. I had tried a pair of stoggles prior to these, which were pretty pricey in comparison to these, and they cracked at the hinges and around the lenses in multiple places to the point where they were unusable within 6 months. These on the other hand have lasted me 8 or 9 months now and there is no signs of breaking or cracks anywhere, never had a lens pop out, swivel is still tight and they stay on my face really well even after dropping them plenty of times. Only complaint I’d say is the arms had a silicone/rubber-like layer on them and it started peeling at the ends, I ended up peeling it off the rest of the way and the plastic edges are quite sharp on the back of my ears but with some light sanding they’re more comfortable then they were with the silicone layer. I’d highly recommend these to anyone that is looking for a classy pair of safety glasses. ... show more
