  • Great buy for starting out Great buy for starting out
Loved the cards I got. I’m new to magic so these cards were perfect for me. Quite a few were doubles which I had no problem with since I share cards with friends. No rares or mythics. I did get 3 legendary creatures. A surprising number of artifacts and instants. No lands which I’m okay with. I have plenty already. I totally recommend and will most definitely be buying again. ... show more

  • Definitely good if you’re starting to get into MTG
Bought it in a whim and was skeptical. But I got some nice valued cards when I scanned it into TCGplayer. No dups and no lands. Got mixed of rarity. I would recommend for people starting to get into collecting MTG but don’t want to spend a lot of money. It is random and you might get foil or not.

  • Not good for playing, good for proxies
So these cards are extremely meh if you are looking at them as actual playing cards but thats the reason I bought them. These are very well priced cards for making proxies. For proxies, these are perfect

  • Perfect for filling out your decks, which was really all I wanted Perfect for filling out your decks, which was really all I wanted
I got two extra cards :) I'm new to MTG so I was looking for cards to help fill out my decks and inspire some new ideas. This did all of that for me. Good condition, no duplicates. There were a handful of Uncommons, one Rare, not "25+." So maybe I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. I don't really care about rarity when I'm buying cheap bundles second-hand off the internet, so I wouldn't drop a whole star just for that. But since I can't do that, I'll let it stay at 5 because I did get 2 extra cards, and I like the gameplay options these cards give me. ... show more

  • Knew what I was getting into, but was slightly more hopeful - barely any unique uncommons
If you're looking for ROI on selling cards, this isn't the product to buy. I purchased 2 of these and did a comparison of what I got. The commons were almost all different (only a few overlap), however the uncommons were heavily repeated - so the "Includes 25+ Rares/Uncommons" is a bit misleading, though true. I only received 3 out of the uncommons that I only got 1 of - the rest were 3 or 4 of each uncommon. Definitely not commander or standard friendly packs due to variety and age of cards. I received 2-4 rares in each pack, and was able to use 2 of them in my 5 decks that I currently have - however, again, no value and I could have purchased each for under $0.25. This would be good for doing a random draft with friends if you're bored and want to mix it up with a chaos night - however don't expect much synergies unless you're having a 4-8 player draft. In the end, there's not ROI which is fine and what was expected. However, the issue is that there is little variety in the cards that are in the middle of the pack as the commons really just seemed like they were what was left over from what Joe Schmoe didn't want. Advice to the company, give me unique uncommons across the board. I'm fine if there's 2 in total if I bought 2 packs, but because of this the value isn't there as I play commander. ... show more

  • Random yes but same price as a booster pack no repeat cards
Is it random sets thrown together yes. Is that a bad thing? No. I actually got a lot of really useful cards i just got my girl into magic and this is a great way to start a variety collection of bulk for her. Would i like a whole one just to be phyrexia? Sure. But for the price and even getting a mythic in both the packs I got as well as a good amount of rares. I just bought 2 more from them and will be getting more. More cardboard same price just mixed sets. Great for starting out. ... show more

  • Only order one
First couple of orders were pretty good, got some decent cards, and there was a decent variety. However, my last 3 orders have consisted mostly of dupes. (As in, out of the last 3 orders I got, around 40 of the cards in each order were the same as the last order.) Really disappointing, but nice if you are trying to fill out a deck I guess. If you are going to order this, only order one, I would say. ... show more

  • Worth the 7 bucks, beware of packaging if you want your cards looking nice! Worth the 7 bucks, beware of packaging if you want your cards looking nice!
Writing this review for what its for.....i bought a 7 dollar pack of random magic cards. My expectations were not that high on value. I got it because I wanted to test the randomness of the pack. First off, no duplicates. I was very surprised by this. First gold star. Second, pack did what the description says. 50 cards total, 25+ rares/uncommons. i got exactly 25 rares and uncommons (2 rares and 23 uncommons). the remaining 25 cards were commons. no mythics or foils however. still, the title of the pack did what it said, second gold star. third gold star comes with value. i spent $6.90 on this and i got $8.92 using TCGplayer as a pricing source on manabox. got the value for what i paid for. the fourth gold star comes from just ripping packs and seeing new or familiar cards. always a good time. the only gripe this review has, if you look at the third photo where the red circle is, you will see a rip in the plastic. we are talking about $7 dollar pack of cards but still, secure the packaging or do better packaging work. all in all, 4/5 on this one. if you are looking to further add to your collection, there are other options out there worth your while but still, cards are cards. ... show more
