I followed the instructions and hung these up on Command hooks before untying all of the string lights and it worked flawlessly. I was a little confused about how they connected together at first but once I figured it out, it was simple. I do wish it had the option for a slow twinkle effect, but it’s okay that it doesn’t. I just leave them on steady since the other options aren’t to my personal taste. Love that they have a remote and timer so I don’t have to run out and turn them off and on (it’s not an insulated room so it gets very cold in there!). ... show more

These little gems are so pretty, and with the little hooks to hang them, they are so easy to put up. I like to have them steady burning, however the only downside is that every time they come on (they're on a timer), they will flash, so every time I have to grab the little remote control that came with them and push the "steady burning" light. I love these lights so much. I used them for multiple hours every day. It’s 2024 and I purchased these lights in 2021. Unfortunately they are no longer working because the wire broke (an environmental thing rather than the lights themselves). But they have treated me well and are were one of the best parts of my room. I’m absolutely buying these again! ... show more

Once I read the directions it was super easy to hang and unwind. (Don’t undo the smaller twist ties until you have the main cord hung or they will easily get tangled up.) I plugged in two curtains connected together, and instant color! I did purple along my porch (2 curtains each side). The remote needs to be pretty close to the end plug to work but otherwise they do a nice variety of rotation to make a sparkly effect. ... show more
