Believe it not Southern California does get cold. It is cold now, I got one for myself, same brand, but not the color I wanted. But it is a color I like. I love all the pockets. Always love pockets with zippers to close them.I have dairy and fiber goats, and those zippers keep the hay out of my pockets.

Very well built WARM jacket. The hood fits kinda whatever, but zips off clean. The collar fits like a collared shirt, the sizes run as expected {Im 6'1 210lbs, a XL shirt usually fits perfect this jacket fits just enough for a XL shirt underneath but not too loose/tight}. Its a lot heavier than I expected, the fleece is thick. Great winter jacket for the price!!!
