I ordered the 2xl since I am 6'1", 265 lbs. with an ample belly. It fits a little snug around the waist as expected so I couldn't wear a sweater under it if I wanted to. I can't speak to how warm the jacket will be in ski conditions as the temp here only gets down to the low 40's maybe hi 30's but it is more than warm enough for that range. The jacket is made well and looks very nice. I haven't worn it in the rain yet so I am not sure about the water resistance. Will update if it isn't. There are a couple of things that kept it from getting 5 stars. The sleeves of the liner are a little tight, no extra room if layers are needed. Also the left handed zipper on both the jacket and the liner take a little getting used to. I would definitely buy another one if I needed to.

The coat is nice and warm, however, The fabric used to hold the snaps and loops for the arm sleeves of each portions of the jacket, the inner portion in the outer portion is unraveling. It’s creating the need to replace the fabric with a different fabric. And that’s going to be difficult because there are snaps on the outer layer side arms. The thread unraveled on the hood and will need resewn.

This jacket is advertised as being windproof and warm. I tried it out for the first time yesterday and found that it is neither windproof or warm. I could feel the wind and chill with ease. Temperature was 24 deg with a wind of 8 mph. this jacket is best used as a late fall or early spring jacket ONLY.

Nice jacket but doesn’t heat up as much as expected. Also, when on high it turns down to medium on its own which it doesn’t say anywhere it’s supposed to do that. Bought an axle for my husband and had to exchange for a xxl runs a bit small.
