This is absolutely worth the price and the price isn’t even that bad really. I love that it has the vented storage for shoes . Especially going on a plane or even a road trip in the summer I often pack tennis shoes and flip flops so this would be great for an extra pair. I love that it’s so versatile and that you can remove certain compartments like the laptop bag or the small pouch on the front . It has the nice straps to connect across the chest for support as well as a nice cushion lumbar area of the back. I honestly am not even sure I could use all the storage it has but that’s not a bad thing. Really glad I found this and I’m Honestly surprised it doesn’t have more reviews . It seems good quality and looks nice . Best part is that it’s TSA friendly so I don’t have to worry about it not being allowed . I have had many backpacks that I use for travel but this one outdid itself. We recently traveled to Europe with one suitcase and this backpack. First of all 3 large middle compartments. I used one for my computer. the large on in the middle for clothes for the day trip. I used cosmetic bag that I was able to put in there and still had the front large pocket for other items. The detachable bag was great on the plane as it decreased the size to fit in overhead bins and I kept charging cables and immediate items I would need in my seat on our 9 hour plane ride. The bottom compartment allowed me to put in a second pair of shoes and not get the rest of the items in my bag dirty. My favorite was the buckles on the sides that allowed the bag to become more compact. I was able to secure my denim jacket in place so I would not have to make sure to grab it. AND my favorite part about those buckles...I have a knee brace that I could not wear all the time, I was able to secure it to the outside of the bag with those buckles. It is such an awkward size and takes up room in the suitcase that this was a great option. I kept it on my backpack through security clearance and the buckles kept it secured. I bought the larger version of the traveler's backpack in black. It held sooooooo much stuff!! On the way home after four days away, I had a bag of dirty laundry that absolutely would not fit in my overloaded suitcase -- I remembered seeing some section of the bag that looked like the inside of a suitcase, and lo and behold -- there was a zipper I had not even TRIED yet!! Sure enough that was the "suitcase" section and it held the laundry, and then some. It also held the extra piece -- the clear toiletry bag that I thought had been omitted from my shipment. Nope. Just hiding behind an unopened zipper. The bottom shoe section was even plenty big enough for my cross-body purse. Only con among all these pros: when loaded up, the bag can be quite heavy (which is understandable if you consider how much it's holding)!! ... show more

Used this backpack for a recent trip to France, May 2024…I literally just got back. First, it is very nice looking. Second, it has a lot of room. But human nature has a tendency to fill up the room which can make the backpack heavy. Loved the middle section underneath for shoes or whatever else. The purse concept is great and I planned on using the small detachable section at the front; however, that part, while also having clips to secure it to the bigger backpack, also sticks on with Velcro. While using it as a purse, the Velcro snagged the heck out of my new $50 travel outfit, which I was very unhappy about and I didn’t use it again that way. There needs to be another piece of material to cover the Velcro to make it practical to use. The top carrying handle should also be reinforced and larger across the bag. After one use the handle has ripped on both sides. Honestly I would return it but it’s past the time. ... show more
