My 30+ year old cooler of similar size had finally become too worn out to use. This one is so much better than what I had, primarily because the lining is all one piece, whereas that of my previous one had sewn seams, so if something leaked in the cooler, liquid would seep through. I wouldn’t expect that to happen with this one. The size I chose is just what I needed to keep things cold when driving several hours to a vacation spot. Love the pockets and how sturdy it is, without being too heavy. I tested it with ice in a zipper-closed plastic bag; the ice is still at least partially solid for 6-8 hours, but melts overnight.

This is a well built, excellent cooler. It has an attractive, abrasion resistant exterior with 6 zippered pockets with nice zipper pulls, 2 small mesh pockets and a fabric pocket on the back side. It even comes with an attached bottle opener. It also has two sturdy side carry handles, a top carry handle plus a carrying strap. It has a series of attachment webbing on each side of the front that you can attached rope/paracord/bungee cord/shockcord to carry your jacket or other clothing or light stuff. It also has a velcro opener on top so you don't have to zip the entire top to get something from the cooler. This is a great feature since it keeps the cooler colder longer. I tested the cooler with 3 plastic freezer packs (7"x4"x1"), a thermometer and 8 12 oz cans of soda. They started with a temperature of 40 degrees F. I checked them using the velcro top lid every 2 hours for the first 12 hours. Over the first 12 hours, it only warmed to 41F and after 24 hours to 45F. I then redid the test opening the full zippered top every 2 hours and this showed the importance of the top velcro door. It warmed to 45F after 12 hours. This was much better than my other soft side carry coolers. Overall, I am very pleased with the looks, durability, options and especially the cooling capability of this cooler.

The media could not be loaded. I am very impressed with this cooler. I have not used it yet, but carefully looked it over & tried out all openings & handles. First, the overall impression is of a high quality material. The grey looks nicer than I thought it would. It looks like a soft fabric, but It feels resistant & durable. The handles on the top velcro together. There are 2 side small handles just big enough for your hand. And the shoulder strap is nicely padded & easy to attach and detach. The clips are a thick plastic with metal openers. They feel sturdy. The zippers are sturdy and have nicer large pulls that even larger fingers will fit in. They open and close smoothly. There are good sized pockets on all 4 sides. They are big enough to actually use for a variety of purposes. The sides have a mesh pocket too. The front has a bungee strap to hold an additional bulky item. The lid has a very convenient opening on top for easy access to the items inside. It is secured by velcro around all 3 sides. This is important. I had one with this feature previously that I loved, but there was a gap on the sides since it only had velcro along the front. It also has sturdy rubber feet on the bottom. It raises the cooler slightly & I think it won't shift around in the car as much. The inside is smooth & will be easy to clean. The coooler folds down, but it is very sturdy and doesn't collapse at all. Very nicely made. I love this cooler & look forward to using it!
