It came in a small box that wasn't too heavy but it had some decent weight to it once you fluff it out. It's decadently soft and feels luxurious and expensive. No weird odor from being packed - I just unrolled it, put it on my bed, and it seems good to go. The colors are true to the picture, a soft gray and white. I have a queen mattress with a 4" foam topper and this still covers the sides (see picture). It is very short on the end but that's OK for me as it fits well into the bed frame. I didn't realize it comes with a small decorative pillow. My toddler will love that when he comes into bed with us. I am concerned it might be too hot in summer but for winter it's wonderful. I look forward to using it. I haven't used it or washed it yet so I'll update this review if it starts to fall apart. I don't have much faith in cheap comforters but so far so good! ... show more

I absolutely love this comforter. It's the perfect weight. It's so soft on both sides. I washed it and hung it to dry and it did not come apart as of yet like some other reviews state. My last comforter I had for 10 years. This one if it last is soooooo much better and nicer and softer than that past one. Only thing I would change is a little bit more depth in the color pattern, but it's still beautiful! ... show more

I got this comforter and another one to test them out. This one won by a long shot. I sleep warm and this was a tad warm but not enough to make me send it back. I also got new sheets which were awesome and made sleeping with both the comforter and sheets awesome.     • The Comforter That Broke My Heart

I am totally conflicted over my snow leopard comforter. It is so comfortable, being super soft, super warm, even during this extreme cold, it does not shed at all, and I always look forward to getting under it. And now the problem. After I had this on my bed for a bit of time, when I was walking around the bed while making it, my fingers started catching up in threads--not even really visible, in the fluff. I couldn't believe it. I had read a lot of the reviews, prior to ordering this, and if I had seen mention of loose threads, I don't think I would have ordered it. But it gets worse. Days later I noticed what felt like a bit of something, maybe a granola crumb, and went to pluck it off. No, not a crumb or bit of dirt, a knot at the end of a thread!!! Anyone who has ever sewn a hem in those little skirts and little jeans must be stunned by this. Who doesn't know enough to tuck those little knots well inside the folded over hem? Everyone who made it through the home economics class I had to take, way back when, knew to do that. But here is my wonderfully comfortable comforter, with more and more of these little knots, cropping up all over the darned thing, every day. What the heck? Was I chosen to receive the results of a bring your kids to work event? Where is the quality control? I love hibernating under this thing, but come morning, it really miffs me. I do not want to put out the money for a new winter comforter at this point, but for sure this will never see another winter on my bed. Weird. ... show more
