I bought this back in 2013, and it just died on me last year so it lasted almost 10 years. I'm not sure about the quality now or if it was just the way I took care of it, but this lasted surprisingly long. A few years ago the buttons finally came off so I had to resew those back on, but overall this is one of my favorites. I loved the lightness of the fabric, I'm a pretty warm sleeper so I used this and a lightweight insert. It was cool enough for the summers but also warm enough for the winters. After my lightweight insert died, I secured my weighted blanket inside. After a year with the weight blanket being tossed everywhere I think that's what finally did it in. I was not gentle with this either, so I felt it was well worth the money. Again, I bought it back in 2013, so I'm not sure what the quality is like now. ... show more

I gave this a 1 because the color is not grey; it is more taupe, and colors are not as vibrant as shown. Quality is not ok, scratchy. Pillows are very cheap as well. I would not consider this expensive but I was disappointed in color and quality.

I have had this Duvet set for over 2 years now, and it is still absolutely beautiful. It is holding up really well. I wash it on delicate, and hang it to dry on my retractable clothesline. I make sure the crochet lace is flat when I hang it to dry and I fluff the ruffles while it is still wet. It dries beautifully! I wash all the decorative pillows on delicate also, and line dry them as well. The colors are still really pretty and have not faded at all, and are great for a nautical or cottage beach bedroom. Very shabby chic! I put the 2 euro shams on the chair cushions in our bedroom, they fit perfectly! I couldn’t be happier with this set, and I would definitely buy it again. I pair it with a white cotton ruffled sheet set. Love it! ... show more

This is my third set in the same exact pattern from Madison Park and all I can say is- disappointing! The quality from the first to the last is marked and after just a couple of months of ownership- the seams are unraveling. I originally bought a comforter set and I loved it! It gets dingy after a while so I purchased a new set on Wayfair. This was a duvet with throw pillows. I noticed different shades of yellow than the original. The grey and yellow throw pillow had more of a neon tint to it. I purchased again 2 years later. When I love the look of something, I do not deviate. This time I purchased the duvet set from Amazon and the first thing I noticed was again different shades of yellow. Also- loose threads that eventually lead to open seams. The quality of the material is very different. The throw pillows feel like paper bags. I believe that consistency is HUGE and Madison Park FAILS in that department as well as in the quantity department. This will be my last set from that brand. ... show more

Spent years only buying natural colored, plain or textured duvet covers. Decided to "walk on the wild side!" Pros: Perfect fit. Good quality. Crisp hand. Great design. Great Value. Arrives vacuum sealed in strong zipper container perfect for storage. Cons: None really. Do not understand corner ties? They invert the crisp corners and bunch up the duvet.
