I have a comforter of the same pattern as this, but it proved too warm for all seasons. This quilt helped bridge the gap for fall and spring chill, while still being a little too heavy for summer. (I have another light cotton quilt for warm weather.) This is soft and comfortable, yet still of the more formal pattern I want for a bedspread. I use this to make up the room when it is unoccupied, without needing to break out the heavier comforter to achieve the same look for the room. It seems as, if not more, durable than the comforter. It doesn’t seem to wrinkle despite being shipped and then stored such that wrinkles should have appeared. The media could not be loaded. recently got this quilt set, and I’m honestly so impressed. The pattern looks incredibly luxurious — rich, detailed, and elegant without being overwhelming. What I love the most is the contrast it creates against bright beige or cream tones in the bedroom. It instantly elevates the entire space and gives it a high-end, designer feel. Thin quilt... coloring as pictured... however it is surprisingly very very heavy Well made ..looks great on our bed Great size for a queen bed cause it goes down both sides of bed more than half way.. Love it..unlike some queen that barely go down sides ... Highly recommend

Get your tape measure out and take measurements of your actual bed setup to be sure you need something this big!!! LOL I've been shopping (physically and online) for an oversize king bedspread for a while now. I feel like I "stole" this Madison Park Aubrey set from Amazon!!! When I saw the measurements given in the description, I thought to myself... "no, they've got something wrong. It won't actually be that size." But went with the reviews and it REALLY IS that size!! I love the head-to-foot length that lets the spread go almost to the floor at the foot and leaves plenty of length at the head to tuck under pillows! The sides of the spread don't quite get as close to the floor, but are close enough for my taste. Since we have a pedestal platform and no "under the bed view" it's a moot point. I love the colors in this spread and it makes the whole room look gorgeous! It's very nicely quilted in a meander pattern with snug, even stitches. Top quality workmanship!! I have found no loose threads or snags. The top fabric has a bit of sheen to it and the reverse fabric is more of a cotton-feel but still slides off the blanket easily for removal on warm nights. This is not a light-weight spread -- not in a bad way -- it's just the reality of the amount of yardage needed to cover a king size bed! Take into consideration: there is the top layer, low-loft batting, and the reverse/back layer. I'm not usually one to mess with pillows and shams, but I might have to change my mind on that! I haven't found one thing to dislike about this purchase -- highly recommend!! ... show more
