I am simple in my taste. So this curtain worked for me. Pros: It comes as a pair (mine was 50Wx 108L ... I used 2 pairs =4 panels for my 100inch wide window to give it a full look). My windows are 115 inch long so this came in short but I was Ok with it. Has both rod and back tabs ... I used the back tabs so the curtain covered the rod, as shown in seller's photo...looked neater Has a lovely sheen when hung Some bit of blackout ( I didn't want much so was ok with it) Easy to hang if you have a rod Packaging and shipping ...ok Cons: Some stitching were carelessly done ..luckily not noticeable because of the fabric Fabric is not lined....I used a sheer curtain (egg white color) behind it ... show more

    • Labeling is very misleading

UPDATE: 12/30/20 Just realized I was so focused on the labeling of the package I didn't realize there were 2 panels each about 50" wide for a total of 100" to a package. The labeling is still incorrect as there are actually 2 panels in each package even tho it states 1 panel 50" x 84". So don't overbuy as I did due to what the package states. The curtains are beautiful and I love them. I love the curtains but was mislead into thinking I would receive 2 panels in each package totallling 100 Inches when in fact I got only 1 panel of 50" in each package. In other words, there is only (1) 50" panel per package, so if you have a wide window like 76" wide, you need to order at least 2 packages just to cover the one window and order more for any additional windows. I had 1 - 76" wide window and 2- 24" wide windows and ordered 2 packages of these curtains and found I needed to order 2 more packages of (1) panel for each additional window. ... show more

The most I can say is that they look nice. I'd be the first to admit I'm no authority on curtains or valances, but it seems to me that there is a bit of a quality control problem. At the bottom of the valance (ribbon area) is an area that is, I guess you would say is translucent. In that area between the front design and the backing you can see loose strings hanging that were never trimmed off and the problem is you can't get to them. From a distance you can't really see it much but is evident on closer inspection. Those strings should have been at least trimmed off. Maybe this is considered normal, but I can't say I like what looks to me to be sloppy sewing. Trim is a bit crooked also. It's wasn't bad enough to return them, just annoying, but quality control should be improved on the product. I'll leave to others more knowledgeable whether the product was worth the price. A 96" window absolutely needed 4 panels. They do not look good stretched out; you need to bunch them while it does a good job hiding any irregularities of the trim. .Love it!! I received the "black" valance today, and it is absolutely beautiful on my window. It is definitely a 5-star purchase. However there was ONE very very minor negative point: The "black" is really more of a real "dark dark brown"--still beautiful, but not the dark black I had wanted and expected. But once I got it hung (which took every bit of 3 minutes, at most), it was so stunning that I no longer cared about the extremely minor color hue difference. One more important thing--my window is a 48" window so one curtain MIGHT have worked, but I ordered two just to be safe--and TWO equaled exactly the correct size for my window. So if you want the nice full luxurious fit, you better get two of them. You will not regret it. ... show more

Bought the Oversized King Madison Park Aubrey Bedspread Set a few days ago, then found these valances to match!! Just put in my order for one more valance so all three windows match in fullness. What they don't tell you in the description (at least not that I can see) is that you need to measure the width of your window and then multiply that by 1.5 or 2 to get the fullness/ruffles shown in the display pix! Or if you want the valance to hang flat with little or no ruffle, order just your window width or a little more. After a gentle laundry session and a touch-up with the iron, this valance turned out beautifully!! I was able to use the existing rods from my previous valance and I have a very high-end custom decorator look now!! I could not be happier.
