These valances are a LOT of work!!! But for the price and final results... I love them! Getting the packing creases out is a one-time deal... Next time they can come out of the wash and right back on the windows. They are quality made, very few loose threads, nice even stitching and stood up to the abuse I dished out with the iron! The fabric has nice body to it, especially with the lining. Care tag says "Do not iron." PFFFT!! If you want to announce your new valances with packing creases, you don't need to iron. When ironing... 1) The backing is uneven and will have wrinkles. This is normal, don't worry about it, just pay attention to the side that shows. 2) The fabric may tighten up/pucker a bit around the branches. Minor issue, I'd rather have these puckers than the heavy duty packing creases. 3) I set my iron between Cotton & Linen and that worked well. Had to use a spray bottle of water and soak the wrinkle, then immediately hit it with the iron. NOTE: You have two options for hanging these valances! Tabs on the back OR rod pocket (with no top ruffle). I went with the tabs for a nice pleated effect. Before ironing and after ironing pics AND a pic of the final result. BEAUTIFUL!! ... show more

Perfectly matched the window dressing set I purchased years ago. Making a fuller looking valence. Since my grandchild likes to hid behind and move the curtains, a fuller valance stays in place longer and looks better even if the curtains move them a little.

Absolutely love these valances. I searched and searched and found the perfect color and style. It was very easy to throw them in the dryer on low with a damp towel to pull out the creases from shipping. I love that they have both a pocket or little straps on the back so you can choose which way you want them to hang. I chose to keep mine flat, but if you bought several, they would ruffle beautifully. The quality is excellent. The color is exactly what I thought it would be. These curtains are a nice color and design but the material was too thin for the living room windows I ordered them for so they were returned. We needed a thicker more luxurious fabric for our living room treatments. This material would probably be better suited for kids rooms, teen rooms, play rooms, or college apartments. It is odd you cannot buy more than 4 panels. If they met my needs when they arrived I was going to have a friend order me 4 more! Lol. ... show more

These valances look really nice. They seem to be well made. Not a thin material, very sturdy. They hang well and let a bit of light through behind them. Fits perfect on one window. I put three of them on my large picture window. I love them.
