I feel I must leave a review to warn others that this product runs very small. I ordered a size 14 for my daughter who is nine years old (she is more like the size/height of an average 11-year-old) but the shorts appeared to be a size 7/ 8 if you compare it to other brands. The waist across is 11.5 inches! So 23 inches total- doesn’t match their size chart at all. They do seem to be good quality, but they would have fit her when she was six or seven. The swim top/shirts we bought seemed a bit more true to size. However we are returning all because I’d like a set that matches. Found one from Land’s End. ... show more

Loved it. My son wanted to be a nerf dart in his first triathlon so I was beyond excited when they added these multi colors. They work perfect for first triathlon's as swim trunks are not comfortable to bike in my boy says. Though I heard if you cut out the mesh, it's better. The material seems a bit thin but for the price I wasn't expecting top-of-the-line quality. He's 7 but very skinny so I ordered him a 6 and it fit perfect. In swim trunks he wears a 4 and 5. Hopefully that helps give you an idea size wise. He would normally wear a size 22 in swim jammers if they were sized like swim store sizes. ... show more

Wow, these are the ONLY swim shorts I have found for my boys that do not cause chaffing. Both boys are rash free! I sized one size down and they fit perfectly! They have swam in them five times (for hours at at a time)so far and they have held up to this point. *** update: these lasted through the whole summer swimming 2-3 times per week for hours at a time. No rashes and will get to use again next summer if they still fit! ... show more

I am pleased with this product. I expected it to look and feel cheap because it was priced below many known brands but was surprised at how well made it is.
