Description

Close your eyes. Take a bite. And let the velvety taste and texture of these Organic Smyrna Figs take you to a place you never expected. A place of pure, snack-driven desire. Of fruitful passion. Of wildly permissible indulgence. These rich, flavorful dried figs have hints of honey, jam and butterscotch with a subtle nuttiness from the seeds. And their looks: exquisite. They range from light tan to deep brown, and their naturally occurring sugars often emerge during the sun-drying process to form beautiful white crystals on the soft skin. There’s really nothing quite like them. So congrats, nature. You really nailed it on this one.

  • The nutritional value is off the hook! Great for constipation!! The nutritional value is off the hook! Great for constipation!!
Size: 32 Ounce (Pack of 1)
These are so wonderful and taste great! They aren’t to dry or wet. The color is true to nature . Digestive Health: Figs are an excellent source of dietary fiber and prebiotics, which help regulate bowel movements and support a healthy gut microbiome.Bone Density: High levels of calcium, potassium, and magnesium work together to improve bone density and may help prevent conditions like osteoporosis.Heart Health: The potassium in figs helps balance sodium levels to manage L high blood pressure. Additionally, their fiber and antioxidants may help lower cholesterol and reduce cardiovascular risk.Antioxidant Power: Figs are rich in polyphenols and flavonoids, which combat oxidative stress and may protect against chronic inflammation and certain diseases.Skin Health: Vitamins A, C, and K, along with antioxidants, promote collagen production and may improve skin elasticity while protecting against free radical damage. Yes, I grabbed that off google but it really should be shared everything they do for your body. The size of the bag is big and the organic aspect makes these top notch! I’m in love! Also easy to chew, the texture isn’t tough. Just had to come back and say these really help with constipation!!! ... show more

I love figs. I did find that some of them were dried with the stem on them. Be careful. These small ends look fine, but the can’t be chewed and eaten. Other than watching for the stem, these figs are great.

  • Top Quality Figs!
I'm on my second bag of these dried figs. Much better than the usual "strung together in a circle" figs I've always bought. These are bigger, not strung up and just dry enough - they sort of melt in the mouth. It's nice to know they're organic which may account for their great taste. My only complaint is the zip-loc bag's closure. You have to make sure the tracks have sealed properly, or the figs may go bad. So I've transferred mine to a glass storage container. Problem solved. ... show more

  • Bug infestation - entire bag in motion!
I bought this product one time before and the figs were fabulous. I opened the sealed plastic bag for a snack, had my hand in …& snatched it back out again!!!!- As the fig flew across my counter, my brain registered what my eyes had seen: a yucky bug which looked like a tiny lizard came leaping forward towards my hand, as if to greet me!! To think I was about to pop that Fig into my mouth… I zipped that bag sooo fast & rezipped it several times just to ensure my safety. I then looked warily at the fig on my counter. It looked a bit odd- with texture on the side: Not texture - little openings that had little wiggly things inside. Yuck!!! I could not see what they were but they were a mass of somethings I was not examining while they had the run of the house!! I captured the fig in a plastic bag (eeeee!) and put it out the door. Along with the bag of figs. This is one of those times when a husband comes in handy. Sigh (divorced for ages). I did notice the expiration date is 1 month only from today. That says something. PS: I did see the other reviews- looking to find mine which seemed to have been overlooked somehow. I saw a pic of the one bug that flew at my hand (next to the moth) Yuck yuck Yuck! 🤢🤢 fruit with a high volume of insects is a bit scary when you had planned to put them in your cupboard & later eat them. ... show more

  • The best figs!!
I bought these a while ago at a club store, and since then, have tried various brands of dried figs, always disappointing. I bought this brand again from Amazon, and feel like I've come home! These are so much better than the soft, moist things I have gotten elsewhere. They still have the skins, which are a bit thicker. You have to pull off the little stemmy thing, and actually chew the fig. So yummy!!! If they get a sugary coating, don't worry, they're still edible. That's just the natural sugars coming to the surface as they age. They'll be sweeter, but still have the same great texture and flavor. ... show more

  • Pretty Good, but NOT wysiwyg Pretty Good, but NOT wysiwyg
Size: 7 Ounce (5 Count) (Pack of 3)
Not only are these smaller than pictured (sadly, very typical advertising), the oats aren't on the outside, as you can see. So, because of this, the bars (opened Fig, and Fig +Blueberry ones) are a bit sticky. While they taste pretty good, I feel that there's too much sodium in them, which isn't be good for people who require a low Sodium diet. Or, are sensitive to it. And, for the cost, I don't think I'll be buying these again. A darn shame, as I truly enjoy figs, blueberries, and strawberries. ... show more
