This rope is sturdy and looks great. We cut pieces to fit through our boat travel cover and stretch it over the boat frame to keep the cover secure when traveling. We used a flame to melt the cut ends so they wouldn't unravel. We found using the flame in the area we were cutting just prior to the cut, made it fray less. Most anchor rope is the twisted type. What is twisted tends to become knotted. I prefer this woven rope as it stows easy and tangles less. It also has a metal eye woven on one end.
