This mouse replaces my Logitech mouse, which I had for a number of years. I wanted to free up a USB port on my Mac mini, as the Logitech required a transmitter there. The mouse connected via bluetooth easily and works well...perhaps even better than the Logitech, in that it seems to work on all kinds of surfaces.

Overall, this is good, functional wireless mouse. I currently use it with an older MacMini that I use as a video server/streamer. I have purchased several Macally keyboards and mice (both wireless and corded) for primarily Apple products and to this day they still function exceptionally well. My original plan was to purchase a Macally combo kit, but lately the prices were getting too high. I found that purchasing the keyboard and mouse separately was less expensive. Unfortunately, what I didn't expect that the mouse would be a battery type rather than rechargeable. Also, this particular mouse was slightly bulkier and less svelte than the more traditional "Apple-type" that most Macally mice. It's not ergonomically uncomfortable just a bit bulky. However, from a functional standpoint the mouse functions, scroll wheel, and Bluetooth work flawlessly. After a period of non-use, the mouse goes into a sleep mode to conserve battery life. There is an on/off button on the bottom of the mouse as well. So far, I use the mouse every evening and have yet to replace the batteries. As a side note, if you are looking for a wireless Apple-like keyboard check the Macally models. Many of them are almost identical to Apple's magic keyboard.

This is my second Macally wireless mouse. I carelessly left the first somewhere, and the repacement just didn't cut it. Fits my hand and works well. Battery life is satisfactory.

I was disappointed when I received this mouse, as it came with old, corroded batteries already inside. Not only were the batteries leaking, but they also left residue on the exterior as well. This shouldn’t happen with a brand-new product. Returning it.
