I bought this Macally USB keyboard so I could elevate my MacBook laptop on a stand and sit up straight to work. Oh, wow, I love this keyboard! WHAT I LIKE: -- It's nice and "clicky," so when I touch-type I can tell what I have typed. -- The keys are "scissor" mount keys, which is my favorite feel on a keyboard. -- It is exactly the same size as my MacBook keyboard, with the same size keys. -- It is USB powered, which I like. Even though it uses up one of my USB ports, the keyboard response is much better and more predictable than with a bluetooth connection. -- The "space gray" color is attractive, and matches my MacBook well. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: -- The DEL + Fn key doesn't work the same as on my MacBook. I like to DELETE forward sometimes, and this key combo doesn't do it, it only DELETEs backward. I haven't found a key combination on the Macally that does DELETE forward yet. -- The keys are not backlit. I know the manufacturer didn't say the keys were backlit so it's not actually a fault, but still, backlit keys are SO helpful in a dark room or cubicle. ... show more

Running windows on my iMac and stuck in a loop on windows sign in. The Apple wireless key board became disconnected and would not reconnect. Apple support couldn’t figure this out and suggested Microsoft support. Fat chance. Rather than face a $75.00 bench fee I purchased this plug and play wired keyboard. Voilà! Success! If this broke tomorrow it was still a great purchase. I so like the feel of this keyboard it’s now my regular keyboard. ... show more

Nice replacement , I preferred a wired keyboard instead of a one with Bluetooth because I have too much wireless - Bluetooth devices close to each other and it was time to go back to basic, keyboard is clicky lightweight and is not as expensive as a brand product, Recommended!
