This is MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in NC30 (neutral cool). I absolutely love MAC products but especially this particular compact. I have been a faithful user of this color and this specific powder/foundation for oh, I think about at least 20 years now. To find my best match initially, I went to a MAC store and had a saleswoman match me to a shade and product best suited to me. She told me I had red undertones, which I had never known before, and that the yellow undertones in this shade would conceal better and give me a more flawless finish. And she was SO RIGHT!! I don’t use this with concealer or liquid foundation at all, this takes care of all that. I will use a light primer with a little shimmer, then the powder, then a bit of highlighter topped with a setting spray which I then go over lightly with a floofy brush to blend in the powder and make it look less powdery. And that’s it. I typically buy 2 of these at a time: one for the house and one for my purse for rare touch ups (I do live in the very humid Deep South after all!). The colors these come in are widely varied and they are really hard to match with your skin online, as photos can cause the pigment to be off. I highly recommend getting your color palette matched in person the first time, then you can price shop around online after that. MAC is a bit pricey but to me, it’s very worth the price. The compact lasts me well over a year, even with daily use, and you get complete, silky coverage without having to use too much product and ending up looking like you have pancake on. This comes with a really nice little pouf, but since they tend to harbour a lot of bacteria, I don’t use it. I use my favorite brushes, which I clean regularly, even for my travel compact. A staph infection on your face is not worth being lazy over! I work in healthcare and I know exactly how much bacteria is present in and on just about absolutely everything and it’s horrific. I’m not about to put more than necessary on my face! So, bacteria aside, you will not go wrong with MAC. You’ll adore it and fan girl over it just as much as I do, even if you’re not a girl. It’s just that awesome 💜💜

I have been USING MAC NW 25 FOR YEARS. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE ORDERED THIS HOPING ON THE SECOND TIME IT WOULD BE CORRECT BUT IT IS NOT. I HAD TO EAT THE FIRST ONE AND KEEP IT BECAUSE IT’S NOT EASY TO RETURN IT BUT I’M NOT DOING IT THIS GO ROUND I WAS OUT $38 THE FIRST TIME BUT I WAS WILLING TO GIVE IT A SECOND CHANCE YOU CAN’T EVEN RETURN THIS TO THE UPS STORE YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE POST OFFICE A VERY PAIN IN THE BUTT, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE ONE NEAR YOU AND YOU DON’T HAVE A MAILBOX TO PUT IT IN
