I purchased this lipstick because MAC is frequently touted as one of the longest lasting brands. I've worn this one only one time so far, but it does seem to stay on. No complaints there. Quality aside, though, I'm writing this review to comment on the color. It's hard to judge a color when purchasing online, of course, so here's my take on it if anyone (like I was) is unsure if it is the red they are looking for. It is not a deep, dark red like it looks in the picture. It is not a blood red or even a rusty red. To me, it is a shade or two lighter than a classic red, and it has an almost pink/orange undertone that gives it some extra brightness. I want to like it, but it's just a little too glaring on me for daily use. It makes too much of a "look at my lips" statement for that. It would be great for evening, or for an intentionally bold look. If that's what you want, you're in luck. It is a quality lipstick. ... show more

This is the best, at least 1 on the best lipstick color that Mac has made. Other 1 is matte purple that MAC also discontinued as well, Great please let MAC bring back that Matte Purple in lipstick and the 1 in the lip gloss Matte Tube and lipstick best 2 colors made by MAC in the color of purple!!!
