It took about 2 hours to install, start to finish. The video posted by Mabett on YouTube was super helpful. Everything that is needed for a full install was included. Including the remote control button, the underhood remote control module, a screwdriver, a socket wrench for connecting to the battery, screws and bonding tape promoter. This only connects to your Maverick via 3M bonding tape. You clean your paint surface, use the bonding promoter on the surface and then apply the base. I added my own additional 3M auto tape to the base to make sure it was super adhered. Don't want it flying off. Should be fine. Mabett recommends 12 hours bonding time before driving. I waited 20 hours. I decided to install the remote button overhead near the sunroof control (see photo). Seemed the most intuitive to me, to have the button overhead up near the lights. The remote button works flawlessly. My only gripe is I wish it had indicator light letting me know the lights are on. The most difficult thing of the install is installing the base on the roof. It's more of a two person job in order to line it up well. Otherwise it's quite awkward and oblong to do on your own with the precision required. Don't want an unaligned install. The screws included are to screw the 4 off road lights to the base and to screw the top cover to the base after installed. I drove it around last night in driving rain. Sure helps find the deer out here on those dark wet Washington State winter nights. We have suicidal deer that jump out of nowhere in the rural area I live and I am hoping the lights will help me prevent collisions. The light bar produces very little wind noise. It's not audible to me, probably because of the hum of my all-terrain tires. Around 65-70 MPH, i think I hear a slightly higher wind noise. Not bad at all. And I can absolutely confirm, this thing does not interfere with the OEM Sunroof. You can see in the photos. Not only does the light bar completely clear the sunroof by at least 3/4", but it's not even visible looking up from the front seat of the cab looking through the sunroof. No need to worry about that! We'll see how this thing holds up to a Washington State dreary wet winter. Living here is a true test to an outdoor product's ability to withstand moisture. 3 days in, I can tell you that I love it. Love the look, love the price, love the ease of install and love being able to see better at night!

Every now and then, you see something that really grabs your attention. This light bar was one of those things. Then to find out that no drilling or special wiring tasks are needed was all it took to make this purchase. The installation was very easy as the instructions are clear and precise. There is also a installation video. The quality and fit/finish are very good and the gloss finish looks completed and not needing to be painted. The wireless technology with the remote is pretty slick too. I really like the look as it's more sporty than off road and my Maverick is more of a sport truck.

Easy to install overall and the lights look great on the Maverick. The fitment was solid and the wiring route was straightforward. However, mine arrived missing the connector that’s supposed to link the Bluetooth relay to the battery, so I had to fabricate my own connection to get it powered. Also, the unit does not include a built-in fuse, which is a safety concern. I added my own in-line fuse to protect the circuit. Once everything was sorted, it works well but the product would be much better if the kit included all the necessary connectors and came fused from the factory.

Light bar is great. The install was easy and its nice there was no drilling. When setting the initial base with 3M it definitely helps if you have another person on the other side to line things up. Running the wire down the side of the windshield was really easy the bottom half of the windshield, but it gets tighter as you go up. The corner was kind of a pain for me, but its doable. The wireless button is nice since you dont have to run a wire, but the sticky pad it comes with sucks so id recommend putting a different one on. One complaint is that there is no indicator on the button to show the light bar is on, no biggie at night but for just incase something bumps it during the day, it would be nice to know its on. Past that, this light bar is great and easy to install.

I wasn’t sure how these would fasten to the truck when I purchased. When I received them it was a wipe down of adhesive then then sticky tape. I do off road but my truck is also my daily driver on the interstate. I also enjoy the occasional car wash after mudding so I was terrified that it didn’t bolt in. I followed all the instructions in the video and everything fit like a glove. I had a lot of people telling me not to do it that when I got on the interstate it would howl and be annoying. I’ve had them for roughly 1 and a half years and I have stress tested the crap out of them. The light is super bright and if you take the time to adjust them absolutely amazing in the mountains and helping you catch deer way before they can get out in front of you. I took them through the mud and very rocky terrain and had 0 issues. I wished they were more in a U shape to help a bit more on cornering but lucky this truck has great light anyways. Next test have mudding was could it hold up in a normal car wash with all the pressure and wind. Happy to report it was completely waterproof and not even the machines in the car was budged anything on it. Next test was the interstate. You can definitely feel wind resistance from them but how they are aerodynamic and designed for the truck it’s almost as if the pressure is being pressed down and holding it in place. I tried 70mph 80ph and then pushed it to 90mph with no radling obviously there was some wind noise but the radio at volume 13 you wouldn’t even know they were making a sound. I just got back from a 7 hour drive to South Carolina interstate all the way 0 issues never budged through the cold snow and rain not to mention staying interstate speed. I was worried at first but I now have zero worry those things are going anywhere. I think the give the truck a distinct look and have gotten compliments while fueling up. I can highly recommend this product for about every situation. Just make sure and follow the directions and insure the top of your truck is clean with the adhesive spray. 10/10 also installed by myself and everything was included in the package that was need to tuck wires and get the job done and I’m not even that great with tools in general, haha. I would definitely recommend if this something your looking for.

The instructions and setup is designed for non-Hybrid vehicles. Hybrids do NOT have an accessible battery in the front. There is the positive emergency BOLT that is used for 'jumping' the vehicle. A different light bar (for the grille) demonstrated with a Hybrid, and requires first screwing on a specific size bolt, then place the proper size connector, then another bolt over that to secure to the positive bolt. THIS DOES RUN THE RISK OF ARC.. with tools and your touching the negative bed frame in any manner. Then you would need a long extender to reach a bolt along the bottom frame of the engine area for grounding instead. As this is high risk of potential arc, shorting the electrical, or self injury, I would recommend with a HYBRID (not general) professional due to the specificity of these models and the way it is setup.

PRO's 1.) It looks excellent on the Ford Maverick. Which is why I bought it. 2.) The kit is everything you need to make it work. 3.) No damage to the vehicle is required to be installed. 4.) easy to install CON's 1.) The light beam is too concentrated, and way too tight. It's great if you want to see what is directly in front of you 400ft away, but not if you want to see what is to your left and right. The lights should be at slight angles so they cover more area ( if the sellers ever make a redesign). 2.) There is no fuse included in the kit. That kind of a big deal, as a short could create a fire and some people installing this might not know they should have a fuse. You can buy car fuse kits for about $10 and crimps kits for another $10. but the individual parts that are needed cost closer to $1 so it would make sense for them to just include it. especially as it would make it significantly safer.
