Probably the most comfortable lined shorts I've ever owned. I have chubbies, birddogs, maamgic, ten thousand, you name it I've tried it. These would be great workout shorts but honestly these are my new daily drivers. They are the softest material on any short I've owned and they feel truly like butter. Maamgic needs to iterate off this short and get more people to try them. They are the new standard as far as I'm concerned, for comfy daily lined shorts.

These are my new favorite pair of athletic shorts. I seriously love these. They are a very comfortable and soft material but they have a bit of weight to them (i.e. they are made well). The inner lining has a spot for your phone, as well, that keeps it from shaking around as you are running. Even the draw string is made of quality material and has metal tips. The colors on this are subtle and look very nice, and the manufacturing of it is great with awesome bend and flexibility in them. I now use them to do most of my working out and I will probably buy more pairs of these, as they are my new favorite set of athletic shorts. I don't really have anything negative to say about them, at all. They sit up around mid thigh, so if you are looking for longer athletic shorts, these may not be the ones you want, that does not bother me, though. Overall, I really love these and highly recommend them!

I got this pair of jogging shorts for my husband. He says they are very comfortable and supportive. They look great on him and fit perfectly. He wears them quite often so he must really like them. I guess I'll have to get him a couple more pairs.

Another solid offering by "maamgic"! I own a few pairs of this brand of shorts - they're all super comfortable & stitched very well. It's no different with this pair of shorts. Both the shorts & the liner have 4 way stretch to them. The shorts move with you as you're working out or on the go. They have 3 zippered pockets (2 side, 1 rear) & they're big + comfortable enough to hold a wallet, phone & my keys. I love the pattern & color of these shorts. The subtle blue pattern on the outside & the light blue liner complement each other very well. The liner does ride up a bit so if you're hesitant to pick these up because of that pop of color, one deep squat & they won't be visible anymore. Overall, I'm very happy with these shorts & would happily recommend them to friends & family. 5/5

These are great shorts. I cannot deduct 1/2 star, but my only complaint is that the waistband elastic is not very hefty and it does roll down on me. That probably doesn't happen on slimmer folks so I wouldn't say it's a big deal, but I do have many shorts where it does not roll down so I notice that variation a lot with my various collection of sweats/shorts/swimsuits. I really like zippers a lot, and this has one on each side and one in the back. I look for that feature because I hate things falling out of my pockets. The left pocket has a small internal pocket sewed in as well. The compression liner is great, it's very lightweight and non-constrictive and has a super cool side pocket as well, large enough for most phones, and it's only accessible by lifting up the let. The outer fabric is very comfortable and light weight as well, and I kind don't notice it much at all. Like I said the elastic in the waistband is pretty thin, but there's a drawstring with metal aglets crimped on the ends to keep them secure. The stitching is very good quality with no loose ends hanging out. The hem is very secure, and the front is sewn to resemble a fly but there is no opening. The shorts look good as well as the craftsmanship. I'm very pleased with them, thanks a lot.

I got these for my husband and he indicates the sizes seem to run small. Part of that may be that the inner layer is a compression layer so it's supposed to be tight but he felt he could go up a size. The waistband does roll down as others have indicated. It's easy to wash and they look nice. They have lots of pockets which made him happy. He was unsure if he was supposed to wear underware with them? Perhaps that is something that others know full well and he should be expected to know, but neither of us could figure it out. If you're wearing the compression layer, do you skip the undies?
