This product is designed to fit into the Milwaukee Packout Compact Organizer (Model Number 48-22-8435) and to provide a customized storage and organizational space for the Milwaukee M12 Rotary Tool. The product will fit both the older Milwaukee M12 Rotary Tool 2460-20 that has the brushed-type motor and the newer, and somewhat larger, Milwaukee M12 Rotary Tool 2525-20 that utilizes the newer brushless motor. The product has locations for the tool itself, two conventional M12 batteries (the smaller ones that are more or less cylindrical in shape), and one larger M12 battery that has the larger square base. Additionally, the organizer has space to hold 56 individual ⅛” shaft rotary tool bits and mandrels. There is also a covered boxed area that is divided into three sections for the storage of polishing wheels, polishing points, sanding drums, cutoff wheels, grinding stones, and other such accessories. Also included in the covered boxed space is a dedicated space for the rotary tool wrench to be stored. This organizer is manufactured in two pieces using a 3-D printing process. The two pieces fit very tightly and solidly into the Milwaukee Packout Compact Organizer (Model Number 48-22-8435). This does require the removal of the five red polymer cups that are supplied inside the organizer by Milwaukee. Since the organizer is 3-D printed, it has an interesting ribbed or rippled surface finish. The product that I received also had a very shiny appearance and does not resemble the finish of the product presented on the Amazon page. This is not an issue usually. However, the organizer that I received has three areas of the organizer where the surface finish is not uniform. As a matter of fact, these three areas are quite rough, sharp, and they must be addressed to make the organizer useable and to prevent possible injury. I have already had to pull plastic points out of my finger and thumb because I did not see the rough surface and the dendrites standing proud of the surface. I will try to knock down these imperfections with a very fine file and move on to sanding the surface only if it is required to make the surface useable and safe. I have included five photos of the problem areas. Three of the photos are of the top surface of the organizer where the very rough surface exists. Two additional photos are of the underside of the organizer and they show a distortion of the surface where the product should have been firmly attached to the 3-D printer’s platen surface to but built-up by the printing process. Two of the corners of the two pieces (where they fit together when installed) are affected by this issue as is one of the battery storage areas. Overall, I am happy with this product. The design is beautiful and most useful. When I saw this product on a YouTube video, I knew I had to order one for my brand-new Milwaukee M12 Rotary Tool 2460-20 that I had just received. To be able to use the organizer, I also had to order one of the Milwaukee Packout Compact Organizers (48-22-8435). That said, I am happy with the product but I am very surprised and unhappy about the poor-quality control of the product that I had the misfortune to receive. Cheap but since it’s made on a 3d printer, it seems solid. Probably wouldn’t recommend because it’s printed sloppy. Way overpriced for the quality. Should be 5$

Organizer appears to be 3D printed, but it does the job. Keeps pieces in place and organized. Please keep in mind that the battery section is for a smaller size in order to close the lid, the photo that I'm sharing is just for reference. It fits the packout and in terms of quality I don't know how resistant is the plastic, but since it goes inside a case I believe it should last. Overall I do recommend the product. ... show more

This part is 3d printed, probably in ABS. They used a fairly high infill percentage as it's got some weight to it and seems strong. It is not a very clean print. It's under extruded quite a bit. The bit holes are messy. Layer lines are very visible (0.8mm I assume). No supports were used and it was probably printed at high speed so any overhangs are bad quality. It works as is and I will likely keep it since it's just sitting in a box. I am probably being a bit more of a harsh critic since I have a 3d printer and wouldn't be OK with this quality. ... show more

Awesome 3d printed rotary tool & 1/8 collet accessory tool holder. It’s meant for the m12 Milwaukee rotary tool, but I gave it a shot for my harbor freight Bauer branded tool. Milwaukee M12 and Bauer rotary tool is almost the same dimensions, so it’s a perfect fit. 10 / 10 great product that fits snugly inside of my half case Milwaukee packout organizer. ... show more
