I've tried a few ratcheting screw drivers and so far this one is one of the better ones in this price range. As I've come to expect from products made in Taiwan , the ratcheting mechanism is really good , the manufacturers in Taiwan have really done something right with their ratcheting mechanisms and this screwdriver is no exception. They work nicely and one feels they can apply a decent amount of torque to them. The Arrowmax I bought for similar money , made in China and Despite winning a Red dot award etc , doesn't instil the same confidence and has its niggles like movement that engages the direction lever from the inside while tightening something where one has to apply a but more torque. It is a bit longer than I expected though and one will need an adapter to get this to work with the normal short bits but that isn't a big deal to me as I have said adapters etc so I can basically use any bit with it but have to use one of my smaller ones in tighter spaces but overall this is a great screw driver. ... show more

Got this as an add-on to another Klein purchase. I figured it would be like all the other junky multi-bit screwdrivers I’ve owned. Still, it would be handy in the kitchen junk drawer. Boy, was I was blown away by the quality of this screwdriver!!! From the quality of the bits, to the way they’re stored, to the overall weight and balance… This is a joy to use. I’m torn as to whether to let this live in the house, or store it in my shop. I was so impressed, I gifted one to my dad for Father’s Day and he is equally impressed! I swear that I will only use this product from now on. This screw driver is so comfortable to use, craftsmanship is perfect and very happy that it is ratcheting too. Would definitely recommend it.

It's a great screwdriver. The ratcheting mechanism is spot on and easy to use. The bit storage is nice. Only thing wrong with it is it is not magnetic. This would have gotten a full 5-star rating, but without it being magnetic, it's not very useful when up on a ladder and you need one hand on the screwdriver and one to stabilize yourself, good luck with that screw staying in place! ... show more

I've always had Klein Tools, I forgot where or why I got them, but I figure I give the new tools a try. They have always been great tools for me in the past. This tool is very nice. It feels and looks durable. The handle has good grips. the tool tips are well kept. I like how it's abit heavy as it'll help with the torq. Very well made ... show more

    • Regular bits will not fit
I absolutely love this screwdriver. A few months ago, I lost my Husky screwdriver that was almost identical to this one. I had used the Husky for several years as an appliance repairman, and it was a gift from my father that always seemed to be one of my most reliable tools. Naturally, when I lost it I was very upset. I looked online and couldn't find anything close to it from Husky. I tried a Dewalt screwdriver that had all kinds of technical problems. I tried another husky as well and it just felt like cheap crap and broke in a new way every time I used it. This screwdriver has not quite what I was looking for in terms of similarity to the Husky. But I have never used a more tactile and quality screwdriver, this is definitely one of the best you can buy. The only con of this screwdriver is that it uses double sided multi bits rather than a regular 1/4 inch. ... show more

I use tools professionally and didn't really need this product. It is redundant for me but I wanted the ratchet feature. Now that I have it I'm glad I bought it. The ratchet feature works very smooth as you would expect from Klein. The extra bits are handy as well. Price was very reasonable.
