First of all I want to start with this tool is something that I been looking at for a while and even though the price went up slightly it was still cheaper than HD well as CL & Pawn shops that had new ones for sale. This came brand new in a sealed box. As I mentioned this tool is something I have been interested in for a while as a diy no pro mechanic though I do have air tools there are times where cordless works well like I have a close friend who is disabled and actually let him borrow this as he likes to save money and turn wrenches. though it has some limitations it works well for my needs & I do have a M18 1/2 impact. Would recommend this Seller also great communications and even though I like to shop local even with discounts there was a huge difference which some went to the cold beer needed after said brake job. ... show more

Holy crap! I tried waiting a little longer to leave a review but I can’t. The 2554-20 is amazing, I love my 1/2 inch 2767-20 but sometimes it’s just to much. I find myself trying to find every excuse to use this 3/8 stubby! Battery is still totally full but that’s for another review. The power is way more then I expected and enough for anything you can throw at it and more! It feels great in your hand, light, tough, built well, and ready to go! Get it! Stop thinking about it! As I already own the M18 fuel as well as this model I wanted toshare what you should consider before buying. Firstly its a great tool as you may have already heard or read, but that comes with a few caveatS. First is the price unless there's a discount or on sale its not worth it when the M18 is nearly the same price. The next caveat is still relative to its bigger brother as this is very powerful, but within reason. Can it break loose lugs sure, but it also might not with the normal capacity battery. Im waiting for my high output battery to arrive and altho Im confident this will handle small jobs, the M18 handles EVERYTHING I've thrown at like its begging for a real challenge, Lol. It is a great tool just dont confuse it for its bigger brother without some forethought. ... show more

    • What a great tool for so many varied uses. It's become one of my most used.

I'm a woodworker and don't do much DYI automotive stuff except rotate tires, but now I might start. I bought this because I was building a "heavy" bench for a mortise press, heavy vice and some reloading presses as well. Made out of 3" full dimension red oak lumber I had a local sawmill cut . Along with 6x6 legs and a few other odd sizes. Using 5/8" x 5"and 6" galvanized lag screws to facilitate taking it apart easily if it ever needed to be moved. Even with the proper pilot holes the 100 year old oak laughed at my M12 impact driver (it really struggled) and my 20 volt Porter Cable driver gave up and let the smoke out after two. So I bought this impact wrench. This thing drove them like Childs play. Also all the mounting lags for the various tools. Mower blades were easy, worked on my lugs even though it really isn't meant for that. With the right attachments like 3/8 to hex or a swivel adapter it can do things and get into places I always did by hand because of the lack of room. One of my most used tools now.
