I personally don't know much about drums except when played well they sound awesome in rock music. Easy to put together. Nephews wanted to play with it for more than 30 minutes but it was just noise. I will have to take the time and learn about how to play drums, and then practice with the kids. Warning: old people will not appreciate beginner drumming haha. I am an early childhood educator, and I believe in getting the little ones involved as soon as they show interest. This set is the perfect set for exploration and teaching. It is not as loud as I thought it would be. My grandson uses it when he visits, which is often. He is a tough one and so far, this drum set is holding up just fine. The media could not be loaded. I ordered this drum set for our 28-month-old son, got the "Blue-with LED light" version, but unfortunately, there was no LED lights. After revisiting the webpage, I discovered that the LED version was only visible after selecting the "Blue-without LED light" option, which was a clear error on the seller's part. Initially, I was a bit disappointed by the size of the set but latterly found out it is a perfect size for toddler. Nonetheless, there are some notable drawbacks: Cons: 1) The stool provided is too small, and my son fell off it twice during a mere 10 minutes of play. We opted to use a sturdier and larger chair instead. 2)The material feels cheap, especially considering it's all plastic. I have concerns about its durability. 3) The small drums produce similar sounds, so less fun for the kids. 4)The drum set is incredibly lightweight, which poses a problem when my son releases the foot pedal - the set tends to move backward due to the spring pushing against it. We had to position it against a wall to prevent this issue. It might be OK if you placed it on carpet instead of hardwood floor. 5)There is no instruction manual, while there's a printed guide at the bottom of the package, it wasn't very helpful, and it took me about 15 minutes to assemble the set through trial and error, and carefully check and compared to the final picture of the set. 6)The edges of the drums are raised, which might be intentional to prevent heavy hits from damaging the drums, but it also restricts play. Pros: Despite the drawbacks, there are some positives to note. The set is lightweight and work without any missing parts. My son enjoyed playing with it, particularly enjoying the cymbal's sound. Additionally, there's a protective blue plastic layer on the cymbal that needs to be peeled off (but I just decided to left it unpeeled) Considering both the pros and cons, alongside the price point, I'm inclined to rate it 3.9 stars, rounded to 4 stars. ... show more
